  1. Last I heard it didn't. By comparison, some of these WinWing issues seem minor.
  2. This is what I was thinking. Look at the Virpil throttle. They had to completely remove the detents from it.
  3. Are they still replacing the Pro versions vs repairing? My Mura is pretty bad, and due to the lack of recent Mura complaints, I assume few have this issue. I wonder if I could get a replacement?
  4. Harlikwin - Have you tried the DCSLeap app? I wonder how workable it is compared to Pointcontrol?
  5. HI Harry - How is the DCS plug in coming along? (For those that don't know harryharry is the gentleman that is working on the DCS plugin for the SFX-100 motion system!)
  6. @sk000tch - Yeah I've seen video of pilots pulling real G's and no, I have no desire for that. I'm not even in good enough shape to even survive that! Again, I believe what we really want are G- force cues, so we can tell what the aircraft is doing. (Without all the strains, and grunts!) I'd love to see a community project, much like the SFX motion project for this solution. We just need to figure the most reasonable solution, and then one of the very smart forum members that I know we have here to map out the way forward for the rest! I'm still interested in how G force cues can be conveyed using a tactile system, perhaps even more advanced than the jet seat if needed? I currently have a motion cockpit, realistic flight controls, surround sound, VR visuals, and tactile, I just to figure out G force cues for full immersion!
  7. I'm sorry, I was not clear, and I used a bad choice of words. I meant that if a person has to go through a lot of trouble to replicate G- force, ( such as wearing a G-suit, hooking up hoses, ETC.) many will skip doing it at all. ( They will ignore that setup!) I was actually agreeing with you, that some sort of tactile cues would be the easiest, and cheapest way forward. That's why I'm going the exciter route. Hopefully, some Jet seat owners could speak out about if their is any merit to this plan.
  8. I've learned that things have to be easy, and quick, or people will ignore them in the long term. So how to do this for the lazy guy? I've read that it's possible to replicate some sense of G-force using close to the body, directional tactile, using either the jet seats, or as proposed by "Mr Latte" on the racing forums, carefully placed seat back exciters. Perhaps this method could be even more refined? It would certainly be the " cheap easy way", but how good could it be? No it does not simulate real Gforce, but with VR, I think we just need G force cues, and that would be enough? Could Jetseat owners perhaps comment if there is any merit to this? I'm currently going with the seat back exciter route which will offer more control than a jetseat, using 6 independent "stereo" exciters that have full frequency range available. https://www.parts-express.com/dayton-audio-daex32ep-4-thruster-32mm-exciter-40w-4-ohm--295-230
  9. From Facebook: Dennis Gøtterup Larsen I received this answer on the shipping question to day: Dear Dennis, This week will begin deliver. Thank you very much for your long time support! Best, Alex Oh Boy! Does that mean tomorrow is THE big day???!!!!!!!!!!!
  10. Tomorrow another work week begins. I wonder, will this be the week ?
  11. Rust? I thought they were all stainless steel, and aluminum? I'm guess it was the outer box which appears to be sheet metal?
  12. That's great. what do you think about this - That horizontal extrusion will be attached to the top of a vertical riser. Would it be smart to add an additional horizontal extrusion off the vertical riser but lower down, to create a shelf for the throttle to set on? This would remove some stress from the bracket.
  13. Anyone mounting these to 80/20 cockpits? I'm thinking about mounting options for the throttle, but it will be tricky using extrusions.
  14. I see very little discussion anymore about Mura. Mine seem pretty bad. Am I the only one BTW, mines from batch 2
  15. I stated I Do NOT do combat! Only the fight experiences
  16. Whatever you say bub. No I don't (Play war) I mainly like GA and some DCS just for the flight experience, carrier landings etc. I just enjoy flight simulators ( I have a motion cockpit) and find it thrilling. As for Halo. world of warcraft, and the like, I'd rather have a prostrate exam. IF you got but hurt because your a gamer, then sorry bub. If you have a basic setup at a desk with cheap Best Buy controls, than I can see how your setup would be like a game. That's not my setup. I own a simulator What flight simulation has to do with the fighting men overseas is beyond me. That was an idiotic statement you made that has no relevance.
  17. I'm not a "gamer" and pretty much have no use for games. For me it's the difference between being "in" the aircraft getting flight time. ( though perhaps forgetting my eyeglasses at home), Or, playing a video game looking a pretty graphics on a screen. I have no time for games!
  18. I'm in Florida too and would give you a good price on a new in box Virpil throttle in you want high end. Shipping would be nothing compared to ordering from Europe. Perhaps your close enough to come get it? It's waiting for YOU! :)
  19. Hard to tell, but it looks like as the bearing approaches center, one cam is still higher than the other, causing the bearing to make hard contact with the corner of the other cam? "CLICK"
