  1. My dog used to wait and bark at that wheel every morning when I turned the computer on! Oh what the heck! A few laps never hurt!
  2. I've got TH2Go with 3-19" Acer LCD monitors. Also have TrackIR. Can't imagine flying without them! Great stuff!
  3. I have one and it is definately worth the price! I belong to iRacing and the FFB (2 motors) is spot on. But now that I have BS it sits in the corner. I'd be willing to sell it.
  4. Thanks simpit, Much fun, and, good stuff! And thanks also to Triggerhappy! Soup55
  5. I want to land on an oil rig, get out, and go eat breakfast with the crew. Then when I take off, turn around and blow it up. And I hope to see oil and body parts splattered on the windshield. And NOT those generic body parts! Geez, I hate when that happens.
  6. Hi Oakes, I to am in awe of your work! :notworthy: I hope you continue to keep us informed on the progession of your (project) cockpit. Good stuff!
  7. Thanks A big thanks to Triggerhappy and Simpit:beer: for providing the drawings, photos, and, simpits web page! Thank you gentlemen!
  8. Hi Urze! It is good to hear from you, and, I am glad you are doing good. Thanks for responding to some of our concerns. Now I don't mind waiting and would never cancel my order. No one else is making the things you produce, and, after this order I still plan on purchasing more items from you. I have my eye on that FFB Cougar! I know how busy you must be, and I hope Leftside Limited does well. Again thanks. As I said before- good things come to those who wait!
  9. I hope you are correct. It just seems to me that if you are trying to start a business you would maintain communications with you customers! He has great ideas and solutions. He claims to have found the "Holy Grail" of FFB joysticks. From watching his videos presenting it, I would be interested in obtaining one. But I have to wait and see what happens with my present order.:helpsmilie::music_whistling: Urze if you are out there, PLEASE respond!:dontgetit:
  10. hannibal, You are right. I am using XP with regular (4:3) monitors. Works great. As far as Urze goes, something is wrong, and I do not think he is sick as he has been making postings. He is ignoring us for a reason, and, I am not too happy about it. Could be some of us aregetting hosed? He certainly must know we are trying to reach him! But, yes, I do understand he is busy with a regular job, a family, and brainstorming all these great ideas along with building them! So, as the saying goes, all good things come to those who wait!
  11. My thoughts exactly!
  12. I'm running TH2Go with 3 19" Acer monitors. At medium settings I get between 25 & 35 FPS. I also have a 15" touchscreen monitor, but, have been putting off installing it. Got the Abris and Targeting screen running fine just using the options in their setup. Problem is, I like to use all 3 screens for cockpit view, (along with TrackIR) Now to finf a way to display the abris, etc. on different monitors. URZE- Let us know you are OK. You have some fantastic ideas! Especially the Cougar FFB setup. I would like that!
  13. I know he is a busy man, so, yes we probably are a lower priority right know.
  14. I am in the same boat also. Over $200.00 sent to him. He does not reply. Yey I have seen new posts in other forums of some of his new ideas. I am getting a little nervous. I suggest we stay in contact with each other. Maybe stickie this. I am getting a bad feeling. I hope things turn out OK!? If he is trying to start a new business, this is not a good way to treat your customers. He advertises on SimHQ. Perhaps we should alert them of the problem. I do hope he is OK! I am going to look up the dates of his latest posts. See Alternatives for a home cockpit later in these threads. Last edited by Urze on 1/21/09.
  15. Excellent work and greatly appreciated! Thank you! You ARE the man!:worthy:
  16. BaD CrC, Would you mind telling where you ordered your parts from? It would be of great help! Thanks! Sincerely, Soup55 KSC
  17. RCN Moose, Great job on the Marines camo skin. Is it ready for download? If so, where? Thanks for your hard work. It is greatly appreciated!
  18. One word. Wow!
  19. Thank you Ron. Your work is greatly appreciated!
  20. Excellent post and ideas. This must be stickied! I do have a question. Do you know if it is pssible to seperate the outside view (landscape, etc.) from the cockpit view? I am planning to build a full size cockpit, and, eventually would like to use projector(s) to display landscape, and use monitors to display inside cockpit instrumentation, abris, etc. I think 3 projectorswould be ideal for the outside 'view'. Also there is a posting titled "virtual window" in the Cockpit building section that is interesting. Any suggestions or ideas will be greatly appreciated. Thank you for this post showing some of the possibilities using multi-monitors. I have been waiting for someone to come up with the great ideas that you have, along with solutions on how they can be implemented. You are the man!! :worthy:
  21. Read it several times.....couldn't get past "bloat".
  22. Cougar I had a Saitek x-52, but once I got hold of a Cougar and wrapped my hands around the stick and throttle, well, I was hooked! I haven't looked back since! Just seems to add to the immersion factor, but hey, different strokes......:joystick:
  23. Sounds nice! How about a pic? I'd also be interested in seeing the .lua, if possible. Thank you. Every day I learn a little more!!
  24. Nice! Triggerhappy69, me and simpit are still looking forward to the same kind of drawings, pics, etc. for the Ka-50 cockpit! We would REALLY appreciate it if you could help. Simpit has a spot on his website set aside for all the info you can supply. Thanks again Triggerhappy, for any help you can give us so we can start building our pits!!
