  1. Sehr interessant.
  2. Urm - Well, no? I was searching for it. But there is no. I even opened the mission editor and saved that thing in the default folder. But there is none. Can I make a folder myself? I checked on my backup from my previous Windows 8.1 x64 Installation and now on my fresh Windows 10 1809 x64 - Still not here. Maybe because I don't use a local user, but instead I have a domain user with home directories? :helpsmilie: Nice mod - I brought it finally to work. Somehow it was saved in my Docuemtns, not under the "Saved games". Strange o_O
  3. I downloaded the beta before the current update and it didn't work for me. Now I reinstalled my PC (new windows) and installed the beta firstly - It still doesn't work. I am a VR User, but I tried it first non-VR with one Display. Well, let's hope they fix it, since I can not get my 9€ back from the last Steam sale...
  4. Hey - How do I install this one on the steam version? Haven't played yet with mods in DCS (even when I am playing this game for years now :D) The Path in the readme is not available for me?
  5. The G13 hard to find? There is plenty on ebay. Would be interesting for me too - I unpacked my old one, haven't used in years. But I think it might be usefull for DCS...
  6. Thanks for your response. I know the current technical limits of VR. So that's fine. I am currently only trying to get the best out of it, while I wait for the new generation of headsets and GPUs (not that overprized 2080s). As I have mentioned in a previous post: currently I am sitting at a sweet spot between looks and performance with my trusty 1060. I will have another look into the MSAA thing you mentioned above. Maybe that will be an improvement (After i read some posts I haven't touched MSAA etc., since many people say it eats to much performance) And thanks for the link to the spotting mod. I will have a look into it later
  7. Stimmt. Man verliert das Gefühl für Zeit im Urlaub :D
  8. Das wäre aber in der Vergangenheit... Meintest du nicht 2019? :D
  9. The Mayans were wrong - 2018 is the end
  10. Don't drink and fly:pilotfly:
  11. @ FragBum I have als othe feeling, the Rift is worse. Even in other games i always felt, that the normal vive (not the pro) has just a more sharp image - even though I can see the single pixels a bit more, when I am looking at a still image. The thing is, why I have bought a rift recently (250€ in a sale shortly before black friday) is the price. I hoped I can wait for the next generation of VR headsets, but I just needed it for DCS and Assetto Corsa, so this is the best I could get for a small buck till the next generation comes out incl. 10th gen Intels and 3000 GTXs/RTxs :) I have found now a quite good solution to my settings problem. I run mostly Medium settings (Shadow flat, terrain textures low) without MSAA/SMAA. AF is 16x and Pixel density is 1.3. The resolution ingame is 1680x1050 --> How does the resolution affect the game in Vr anyways? When I crank it up to 2560x1600 like my normal display or go lower like 1440x900 it does not really affect the details itself, but the performance gets better or a lot worse on the high resolution. On the other side, if I go on PD 1.5 (No matter what resolution) my FPS just go down and the rift stutters while viewing around. I tried 1440x900 or even lower with PD 1.4, but the performance gets a lot worse (But you still see a slight improvement in the sharpness of the game - but the edges aren't smooth) What a horrible game to setup haha :)
  12. @ FragBum What type of Hardware do you have?
  13. Is there a solid recommendation for a (overclocked) GTX1060 6GB and the Oculus Rift? I have trouble getting it right - I found posts here on the forum, on the oculus forums, some blogs/other forums with once this, once that regarding settings. Also people with GTX1060, but they seem to get a better deal of their graphic cards. I played a bit around, but it seems I can't get the sweet spot just right. The VRAM is always to 100% full, the GPU itself sits around 80-90%, but i struggle even getting around 45FPS (With and without AWS) - I even tried settings people recommend for the vive, since its the same resolution. I tried setting it up ingame, Oculus (tray tool), nVidia Control panel, Steam (Since I play DCS mainly over steam, but i dont use the steam vr thing itself most of the time)... I don't think my i7 6700k is throtteling the GPU (Task Manager never shows it fully utilized, but that doesnt mean a lot of course) When I get it running stable at 45+ FPS, it looks pretty crappy. Biggest problem is, I can not see the cockpit quite clearly or planes on distance with PD 1.0-1.2, at 1.5 its not a problem, which my GPU wont deliver of course. With PD 1.5 and low settings it runs on so low FPS, that when turning, it looks more like stuttering than a smooth motion. Any suggestions? :/
