Make sure you install latest patch. For me the atmosphere in both Stalker games is fantastic and the faction wars in the latest if they work are truly awesome. Also the weapons and suits upgrades are the best. A new Stalker game is coming this fall, Stalker Call of Pripyat and it will be the continuation of SoC. For the info available so far it sounds fantastic and it will be probably the best of the three.

Relax man just disable the grass. It looks awesome to me. More realistic.

I already bought the game but if there is a steam version ever i will bought it again or it will be better if we can use our product key and activate the Steam version also.

Scan mode just move the SHKVAL horizontally to the speed you specify. It doesn't save targets or anything else. I personally don't find it any useful i don't know others.

I use keyboard directional arrows for SHKVAL movement and a button on the Saitek Evo Force for lock. The problem with this is that I don't have collective when I try to lock but most of the time I am in hover. I couldnt find any other way to do it as the hat on my stick is not precise. Now that i built a new pc i will try the hat on the stick as i dont get any slow downs when i operate SHKVAL and it may work.

I have Vista64bit, but they manage to make it work? I am seriously considering to get FSX Acceleration just for this terrain. Whats the difference between FSX and FSX acceleration? Thanks crazysundog.
