I fixed this in my system but not running BS as Admin and installing latest OpenAL and also enable the GX2 mode in my Asus sound card. If I do all the above sound in cockpit is normal.

Yes they look very real. They certainly improve the lightning. I had the impression the we would see something new in August regarding the A10, and August past. I hope we will have some news soon, I like to get teased.

Saitek Evo Force FFB are not working as they should. Also we don't need only Trim hold force but full FBB effects. I am not satisfy at all with FFB implementation.

If you install the latest patch you don't need to do this, the campaign is updated threw the patch. What you said it's true, main GOW split in 3 parts.

Check my signature. I had a huge improvement with my new cpu, used to have AMD 3800+ X2 as i also over clock it to 3.5 GHz default voltage (HT 2.4, NB 2,.4). I can now play with all graphics at full and in heavy combat i get minimum 25 fps.

I tried that software with EVO Force 2 and it works as it should.

Never tried that but i tried to send him coordinates to a location that I want him to hover and he responds as he should. Again all this is possible with the Datalink. I will try hold position and i will let you know my results.

Use the data link to assign your wingman targets. I found that it works better. Its also more realistic. I usually send him targets and then order him to engage datalink target group. Use the in game training to understand how it works.

I found the problem in my system that was causing the loud engine sound in cockpit. What I do is to installed BS in a custom folder and not in Program Files to avoid running the game as Administrator (Windows 7 64bit UAC Enable). Also in order for Track IR to faction correctly with BS not running with Administrator privileges I install it also to a custom Folder and not in Program Files. So basically running BS with out run as administrator fixed my above mention Audio Problem. Also I can now hear in cockpit buttons better and also some sound effects that I couldn't hear before. :thumbup:

So I tried BS 1.0.1 with Windows 7 64 bit. A huge increase in minimum frame rate in first mission of Oil War Campaign. Previous Windows Vista 64bit 17 frames with a lot of stuttering here and there and some times down to 10 frames. With Windows 7 64bit 7100 RC I get minimum 25 Frames with absolutely no Stuttering. It also fixed my audio problems inside cockpit and I can here some very nice sound effects during heavy battles now that previously couldn't. Maybe was the audio drivers of my Asus Xonar DX for Windows 7 that fixed that or the latest version of OpenAL that I installed, I don't know. I am really happy with Windows 7 64bit so far. Stalker CS, Arma 2 and BS perform better with less or no stuttering.

Quick start for me. But I am planning to learn how to do manual start but as EagleEye said I will probably forgot how to when more modules are available.

I am really enjoying Arma2 campaign. After the latest patch is very playable. Actually I was able to finish it and I am replaying it. Arch Angel learn to use your Data Link as it works better with you wingman. Its also more immerse and realistic to use the Data Link. For me in order to learn it I loaded the training missions couble of times, took control and play with the Data Link issuing commands. This way it works really good. As for reacon don't use (use F10) it if you are too close and if you are not sure send recon only for 1km.

You seem to have the same system as me (also I archive the same overclock) with the exception of graphic card. I have an ATI 4870 512MB. In version 1.0 with DCS max I had great performance in windows Vista 64 bit. After the installation of 1.0.1 my performance went down hill. I recently format my pc and installed Windows 7 64bit 7100 RC. I didn't try BS yet but I will do and post results.

Unfortunately you have to micromanagement. Thats why I am impressed with Arma 2 AI but I know that slowly slowly ED will make a huge step with the AI.

I would like to see this implemented. There is a way to do it throw the editor but it would be better in the briefing.

After a lot of flying, testing the new Trim method i really liked it and use it. The flying became more enjoyable and stable. I find my self flying for ours without combat and really enjoying it.

I tried sound back but it didn't work for me. I also test this with my Asus sound card with GX2.0 enable and same issue. I cant understand how its not fixable...??? There must be a way...??? Vista 64bit

Yes i have it checked. The only problem i have is that i can not alt tab out of the game.

I test it and looks awesome. Its working in full screen. Highly recommended.
