No breaks for takeoff imho....the propwash and locked tailwheel should suffice. For 109 and 190

yeah the warping sucked .... could have had two kills more ;) -
well... I have to say ... im a little bit proud of surviving this encounter :music_whistling: It started out with 1 saber chasing me .... at this time i still thought that i could get to the AO and drop my two bombs on the factory....turned out that i could not be any more wrong  after the fight I thought there where 5 sabre, but when analyzing the video i counted them and saw that 7 sabre where involved.

stick forces-please make them optional
Schnarre Aggro replied to 9.JG27 DavidRed's topic in DCS: Bf 109 K-4 Kurfürst
i just made some rolls and stopped the time for various speeds .... no rudderinput(close to zero) I know that its not "exact" but i dont think that i have a margin of error in my measurements of more than 5-10%. so ... i basically just want to know if this comes close to the real values... cause i dont have proper documents ...ill act more like a MP testpilot ;) left rolls 500kph - 6,9sec - 51degree/sec 600kph - 9,2sec - 39degree/sec 640kph - 11,7sec - 30degree/sec 650kph - 11,2sec - 32degrees/sec right roll 630kph - 9sec - 40degree/sec and please remember ... this is not a perfectly structurized test...i dont complain about 2-5Degrees per sec... but i read sth of 80deg/sec and just want to know if either I or the other guy forgot something... some detail ? P.S. no curvature in axissettings -
were waiting for this fix since stutters occured in A10C beta with the cbu87 ;)

ehhh ...imho its comparing apples with oranges...sry YOYO wingarea is sth where there is "specific" knowledge about that specific plane ... it has THAT SPECIFIC WINGAREA ... and not more ...all k4 have the same wingarea(at least in squareft ...dunno in square mm though ;) ) there is no such "absolut pilotstrength" ...they differ quite a lot ...more than the wingareas of different k4s thats to that.... But as said - for me the discussion on this topic is over. im quite happy with it, and i will now even break less wing and will be able to shoot down even more planes ^^ for me everything is fine as it is. THX Yoyo for a definate answer to the "slideroption" peace out see you in the skies :pilotfly: ah .... and remember to always check six ^^ -

no problems with "opinions" ... but "you dont know what you are talking about" is a little harsh to just be "an opinion" .... some would call it offensive ^^ be friends again ? -

actually .... i really would like to Hear YOYOs opinion on the "strength slider" if he says nonsense - i deal with it and be quiet ;) sry sith ....on this Topic Yoyo is my "holygrale" :music_whistling: -

im at a different opinion on the "100Luftwaffe Pilots" .... but we probably never find out ;) and to me a "takeoffassistence" makes even less sense than a strenght slider....but still we have it :music_whistling: -

Schnarre Aggro replied to 9.JG27 DavidRed's topic in DCS: Bf 109 K-4 Kurfürst
sry sith ... you didnt get my point . current version: you pull too much - plane brakes you pull as much that the plane does NOT break - results in a flightpath like in 1.2.15 version 1.2.15: you pull too much - flightpath like in 1.2.15 you pull as much that the plane does NOT break - flightpath like in 1.2.15 get it now ? ah ... forgot ... i consider it kinda rude to say "..you really dont know what you are talking about..." i hope i wasnt that rude toyou if so - sry for beeing rude -

Schnarre Aggro replied to 9.JG27 DavidRed's topic in DCS: Bf 109 K-4 Kurfürst
well ... the optimum setting for a average dcs bf109 pilot ist probably the "1.2.15" setting ..... most noobies brake theire plane cause they dont know it to its full capability .... i would like to dogfight you in the 109 ... i bet you brake it 5 times while trying to stay on my 6 ;) ... then you would go into settings and adjust for a weaker pilot.... you know... i spend waaayyyyy more time in cockpit than in the forum ;) feel yourself challenged ;) ... i just roughly calculated that i have approximately a quarter of your Postamount in flighthours on various dcs modules ^^ .... i saw a lot .... like you did on the forum ;) -

Allright ... I tried it :music_whistling: I keep in mind that you are all "right" in your "own small world" .... I discussed that topic very long with david... Partly im with david and Partly im with yoyo I really like the way of the implementation of the stick forces like yoyo did it. IMHO its the only way to "simulate" it correctly without a "hilariouspower"Forcefeedbackjoystick. Great job and well done Yoyo  Im can totally understand davids thought on that (we discussed it in our mothertounge "german" where we both are able to express ourselves to a very clear and understandable point). He pointed out that it was way more difficult to master the plane without the stickforces inplemented. One was easily able to break the plane if pulled to much.... took me maybe 100h to master it up to a satisfying level. This "familiarization" results in a flightpath wich is very similar to what it is now in 1.2.15! The plane as it is now is simply said "foolproof" .... you cant break it in a dive like you could before. Good for all the 98% of the Pilots who have less hours than david and me . look ... we "feel" patronised of the stickforces, cause they took us the power of breaking the plane when we want!:joystick: Well ... now i head on for some further conlclusion on which i need the information of YOYO on how the stickforce is Implemented. which means: 1. "there is a maximum force one can pull" 2."at certain speeds this mf results in a different Pitch/Roll/Yaw output Now i want you all to think logically ... wouldnt it be Realistic to implement a slider which allows to determin the "Actual strength of the Pilot". For example (Just say for easy calculating) a pilot can pull 100kg Pitch and push 50kg roll. This is the mf which was taken calculate the P/R/Y output With a slider one could be able multiply the "strength of the Pilot" with 1.5. wich again means that one is able to pull up to 150kg pitch and push 75kg roll wich would alter the P/R/Y output Result is that a "Strong Pilot" could break his plane again in a fast dive, or is able to do at least a very slow rate of roll at 700kph. Guys ... you have to admit ... there are differences in the strenght of people. just imagine ... probably the pilots who were able to pull out a me109 didnt survived cause they were too strong and therefor broke the plane :megalol: one last note .... if we have a slider for "Takeoffassistance":megalol::megalol: i think a slider for adjusting the "pilot Strength" isnt that unrealistic :music_whistling: -

There is no way to start up without ground crew?
Schnarre Aggro replied to gomwolf's topic in DCS: Bf 109 K-4 Kurfürst
if i remember correct the removed the batterie/accumulator and the eletricmotor wich drove the flywheel.... to save weight :smartass: considering the old tech of batteries and electricmotors, i can imagine that the weightsave is somewhat between 20-40kg.... just my 2cent :music_whistling: -

[CLOSED] wings break off at 4g
Schnarre Aggro replied to 9.JG27 DavidRed's topic in Bugs and Problems
had a situation yesterday - saetta is my witness - were i blacked out in my 109 after a quite fast divebombattack.... i looked it up in tacview ... couldnt hardly believe what i saw ... see for yourself. Its the current version and not the 1.2.15beta whoo says the wings brake at 4g ? :smartass: as far as i think its due to pulling the Gs too "sharp/quickly":joystick: the only mod i use is the "50+hours_Mod" which i "wrote" mostly on the ACGserver ;) the more i fly it, the less my wings snap :smartass:
