  3. i noticed the holding short thing as well, that's i think todo with the delta between the ways the runways are drawn and the way they are mapped. yep and these this one, in many cases you need to continue a little longer than you think is reasonable for jester to pick it up. some of it, i think is basically a good mission, but was scripted early on and some of the technology has evolved or the use of scripting has, which can make things much more interesting. Though TBH it's not "terrible", from memory this campaign does come "for free" with the Tomcat so that's worth bearing in mind as well. Try Speed and Angels , Fear the bones and Zone 5 i found them much better, I am still enjoying Reforger Part 1 and 2 but as you say it has its flaws and eccentricities

(github.com) as a basis would be my recommendation, rather than the approach you are currently taking. and i would combine that with Joypro Holdi601/JoystickProfiler: Joystick Profiler Utility (github.com)for mapping...
  9. @BIGNEWY please pass on my genuine thanks to the team for not shipping a broken patch which would have "ruined" everyone's weekend while they tried to figure out what's wrong, I am pleased that they are taking a commitment to improve quality of patches, over volume, and even timliness.

  11. There is a Main Lobe Clutter, switch in the RIO cockpit, the out position is down. You can either switch to the back pit to flick it down or...   12. When I landed, i didnt get any, instructions to leave the runway , as i had in previous missions, but when i went up to the de-arming pad nothing happened, and when i left the mission, it of course noted it as failed?
  13. It's a false positive... it happens semi frequently with DCS, the prevalent wisdom is to exclude DCS from your AV, and then do a repair.

  15. i think this might be the issue, natively DCS does not allow the export of the MFD's if VR is turned on , you have to configure it to be switched on "In order to make MFD export work with VR you need "VR_allow_MFD_out_of_HMD = true" in the monitor config.lua alongside the configuration generated by Helios. Other DCS Settings required for this to work is - DCS VR Options: VR Mirror Options - "Use DCS System Resolution". this is of course related to Helios, but, i wonder if it will help you too?
  16. depends on your budget, 5800x3d, and 4060ti/or 4070, depending on what you do, you might want to upgrade the RAM to 32Gb, you could get a healthy improvement with a 3070ti second hand...

  18. i have never been able to get the latest version of Re-shade to work with the current version of DCS in VR
  19. generally people seem to think that FSR is the best of the alternatives, combined with MSAA in game I would suggest x2 and see... YMMWV
  20. ultimately it's a matter of personal preference ... on a 4070 you might want to leave those settings alone for a bit and try DLSS... but try one thing at a time for a bit and see what works best for you ...
