  1. So there is also this option https://docs.realmlist.eu/tutorials/retaining-windows-mixed-reality-support-on-windows-11 which will enable him to stay on a supported version of Windows 11 and get security updates and still use wmr. But that is just pushing the problem to the right, my personal view is that wireless solutions aren't quite there yet, mostly due to wireless bandwidth solutions or compression over the cable because of its own bandwidth solutions, and the last thing dcs needs is additional softawr introducing additional latency.... That said the G2 was itself flawed outside of the sweet spot, due to the fresnal lenses, but maybe something like the pimax light would be a good fit, depending on budget.
  2. i don't quite understand what you are saying ? But 1) make sure your center XR Necksafer and your VR center in DCS are assigned to the same button 2) make sure that XR Necksafer is first in the API stack using the latest release of GitHub - fredemmott/OpenXR-API-Layers-GUI: UI for managing OpenXR API layers
  3. LEADS..Tiny george for VR only (digitalcombatsimulator.com)
  4. I have the same/similar problem, I thought i was going mad. This is in single player, I can create a steerpoint, 21 (as it i had MGRS) but when, i come to create a second waypoint for the next target, it will not unlock from steerpoint 21, even if i overwrite the co-ordinates for steerpoint 21, it will not enable me to slave to a different location.
  5. currently doing Mission 3 and after entering the MGRS co-ords for the alpha target... the TGP just seems to lock SP3 and i can't unlock it ... there is something i am missing ?
  6. the cake is baked when it is baked...
  7. yeah dont worry about that
  8. no eye tracking is a bit of a shame though i guess they had a challenge fitting it in to the form factor
  9. from what little information we have i think its safe to say we don't know yet... watch for the videos from Gamers Nexus, as that will give you a feel for improvements overall, but the Intel marketing has them a little *slower* for gaming than the 14900k but at *half* the power draw...
  10. yes... but... it's not cheap
  11. very zen as well
  12. Processor would be my guess, but honestly I'd look at your operating system hygiene and settings first
  13. try it without the correction ?
  14. shouldnt it be 11520 3840 x 3 ?
  15. 7800x3d runs very cool by comparison a 240 AIO should be more than fine for that
  16. Honestly it's a difficult question, compounded by the complexity of what is good for "me" is terrible for "you", further compounded by settings in DCS and VR and Windows and how that is configured and how and what you play ... your ram is "fine", i dont know how your are cooling your device but i would recommend a 7800x3d processor as well if you can ... as a rule of thumb if you had a monitor running at the total number of pixels per eye of your VR headset and you took measured your FPS... you would get between 1/2 - 1/3 of that frame rate in VR.. generally you will need either the refresh rate of your VR headset or half that number to be comfortable/smooth (albeit with some graphics artefacting )
  17. connect both computers to the 3rd monitor, and in windows, duplicate Monitors in windows and display the VR Mirror on the 3rd display i imagine you could switch between player 1 and 2 at the monitor level
  18. all i can say is it doesn't work with Varjo...
  19. He is using a Pico Nero 3 according to his sig line
  20. try fan control ...Fan Control - A highly focused fan controlling software for Windows (getfancontrol.com)
  21. Re page files : no you are definitely wrong in the context of dcs. I have 64gb of ram and I still require a large page file I use a 64gb pagefile. Dcs seems to require a lot of breathing space for ram on certain missions or aircraft.
  22. if you can find out the frame times you currently have for CPU and graphics card that will help a more informed discussion, but i would guess, you will still have a poor performance because of your CPU... that said you will be able to have a much prettier set of screens providing the features you are enabling are not CPU intensive
  23. could you maybe describe the problem you are having ?
  24. have you tried deleting the lua files for the controller in saved games\[dcs]\config\input\[plane]
  25. it's more than just gone in the UI, they are not supported by the driver anymore...
