  2. hello, on multiplayer dedicated server, some weird things keep happening, for example HUMVEE with 0.50 cal not firing at enemy infantry, and enemy infantry not firing at HUMVEE , tested in editor and there it works. 2 F14b on escort task with 50 miles engagement range do not engage at all.. the enemy fly directly to them and even when the enemy is Flying in 5 miles range they still fly in circle. whats the problem? how fix that ? thats total mission-breaking, all people involved are really pissed off. tracks are quite big, if really needed say it and i will upload somewhere.

  4. hello, its some time i wish to report this, especially because many friends not so expert had huge troubles with that, not being able to acquire target when they should, and not understanding what was wrong. if radar antenna is moved up or down, then suddenly switch to ACM modes the elevation kinda convert into lateral offset angle, and cannot be moved back to center. the only way i found is go back to BVR mode, set antenna elevation to center, then re-enter ACM. track file linked. plus, its 3 times now that in a mission my antenna elevation get stuck, and i cant move it. (tried literally everything, from shut off radar to change all modes, weapons on board ecc. no way). but i still cant replicate it in a short track, so its just an anticipation... radar-antenna-acm-bug.trk
  5. just tested, you absolutely right! it do exactly the same behaviour as you! i tried also a different mission, and do exactly the same ! thanks for spotting the cause/solution Tom !
  6. yeah.. but right now in DCS rotor blades radar return seems not simulated...at least i have huge troubles radar-finding or locking the helicopters with a plane...
  7. heh… ok here's the track. after starting the plane, i usually was trimming, and all worked fine, now i keep the key on keyboard pressed and after 10 seconds it gives 1 trim point on FCS page. i had to upload the track because its 12mb , i used the same mission where i noticed the problem. https://mega.nz/#!DsQXSayT!Y36aZoQPhaiEZii_HbpgAAIQt3lXehnvJilmpQ_x7mA let me know...

  9. hello, its the second time that this is happening, so i'm quite sure its a recurring bug. on F18 i use trim on keyboard (the arrow Keys). in the mission i tried to trim, and was thinking it was not working. re-checked Keys, ecc, but then i noticed that holding 10 seconds a trim key, on the FCS page it give 1 point of trim.. so i keep holding the key..and after 10 seconds another point of trim ! its kinda….ultra slow..delayed… i dont know. sometimes it works properly, sometimes like that. any infor on that bug ? has been reported ? need a track ? (i have a long track of a mission, because it seems not so easy to reproduce).

  11. hello, i noticed a problem after updating to 2.5.6 i finally had time to made a specific track to show that problem. my average FPS run between 70-80 , no matter if i'm high or on the ground, fast or slow. now after updating to 2.5.6 if i land somewhere, it start to drop down to average 44 FPS, and then even if i takeoff again FPS remain low. i tried different airports, weather, and time of the day, but the result is the same. i link a track made to show this, hope you can somehow reproduce FPS drop and fix it, its game breaking.   12. i was talking about that, am i wrong ? latest patch (tested today again) makes exactly the same. you can just re-play my track to see it. im sorry but its not working for me!

  14. well, i was about to open a new topic, than i found this one. with 2.5.6 i had a FPS drop, but apparently, if i start in air and just fy around, FPS are more or less the same as 2.5.5. (lets say 60-70fps range) when i land, it gets slower and FPS drops to 30-35, i tried in a busy mission with lots of vehicles, and an empty map with just my plane, the result was exactly the same. after i landed and FPS dropped, getting back in the air did not make fps go up again, that is even more weird. i think a track its useless, as long it records also FPS (that i get from nvidia shadowplay).
  15. ook, will do. about flickering ? was this update the one that should fix ? i double checked by running the track i posted and playing again the mission...its exactly the same as before right now.
  16. hello, i got an update Yesterday evening 20/02/2020 , dont know if its the update you were referring to, but flickering is here exactly the same. plus, i found a disturbing problem, after Landing in Gudauta (but probably is the same for every other airport) , FPS went down from 60-70 to 30-35 , for no apparent reason. was playing a mission with a friend, so i thinked was something strange, and made a plane spawn in an empty map in editor. there was just my plane in the Whole map, no scripts or everything. exactly same result. FPS went down to 30-35. its really bad for gameplay smooth. you suggest to open another topic about that ?
  17. honestly, without changing any setting, with 2.5.6 i have on gudauta airfield around 30 FPS, while i had in 60-70 range in 2.5.5 . in the air its less noticeable, but on the ground its a pain, also for low level flight. i care more on gameplay than graphics, so for me its a serious downgrade.

  19. on multiplayer, the event log chat uses wrong names. like if i kill someone , says i've been killed by a totally different guy, or when i'm killed, says my opponent has been killed an unknow guy ! didnt see it reported, so i opened this topic, last time i got a warning of 40% for a "repeated bug post" or something like that, lets see if i get to 80% now...
  20. sorry for the delay, i found just now you answered me (and i'm really happy someone cares of my problem). here is the short track file and the options.lua . keep in mind that track is just about one easy and clearly visible bug, but i had also ground lights flickering, some ground textures, and also without fog, with both dynamic weather and static weather. here a video of what i actually see, just to be sure we're seeing the same thing:
  21. [REPORTED]2.5.6 sea water textures flashing / flickering bug well, the bug was there in 2.5.5 , and is still here in 2.5.6 maybe its just me, but for me its a major issue, and still no fix ? any suggestions?
  22. fun enought coming from me, but i would happily pay for a core improvement … but under the right circumstances. right now i'm so burn by my own mistake of buy an ED Early Access product, that i will never pay another penny for something that is not 100% completed, de-bugged, and with a free trial so i can test it myself. so yes, i would happily pay for a core improvement, because i really believe that a good work has its price, and its totally fine pay for it. the problem right now is the "good work" part… for example, i still have the flashing textures bug, i opened a topic, asked for help in some Others topics, and never had a solution. thats not a good work for me.
  23. not sure what you are referring to, but from my point of view its really simple: i payed years ago for a product that should be complete now (at least from my point of view). and not only is far from being complete, but looks like its development (and bug-fixing) is slowing down every day. i'm just a very worried customer, simple as that, and all chat about that is just for this reason, if i was an happy customer i would probably be playing on DCS instead of writing on forums.
