  1. Here's some more information about "Quick Draw" that I also found interesting:
  2. Does anybody know if Tobii has the same issues as TrackIR when it comes to head tracking smoothness? For TrackIR5 it is a common problem with G-SYNC monitors when you cannot maintain a stable framerate of 120fps or 60fps: the head movements become very choppy (as TrackIR has a refresh rate of 60hz you only get a smooth experience if you "lock" the game's frame rate at a multiple of 60). In TrackIR my solution was to lock the framerate at 60fps with Nvidia Control Panel which is a bit sad because I could actually push 80-100fps. But choppy TrackIR makes it an unpleasant experience. So I wonder if any of these limitations also apply to Tobii?
  3. I think it has gotten better with 2.7. I think it wasn't necessary for me to clear shaders since then.
  4. @Taz1004 Thank you so much for your effort you keep putting into this. It look's awesome!
  5. Yeah, I think it's all down to how clever the underlying tracking software interpolates the input it receives. I might give the webcam approach a shot as I need one anyway. I'm also wondering how Tobii Eyetracker performs in regards to head tracking smoothness.
  6. Does anyone know if this is only a problem with TrackIR as it has a refresh rate of 60hz? Is this also a problem with other head tracking solutions like OpenTrack/AITrack using a web cam?
  7. They integrated Taz's "Better Smoke"? That's awesome too. And sorry, I must be living under a rock
  8. Has ED stated that intent? That would be awesome!
  9. I have the same problem. Canopy open/close are present twice each in the controls options and colored in orange.
  10. I have the same problem: * "F" sets flaps lever instantly to 100% instead of incrementing by one position only * "LShift+F" sets flaps lever instantly to 0% instead of decrementing by one position only It still works by clicking the lever with the mouse inside the cockpit.
  11. Taz, thank you so much for your work! Keep it up!
  12. Thanks for pointing that out. I updated my post as "duplicate".
  13. Edit: This is a duplicate. Bug has already been reported here https://forums.eagle.ru/forum/english/digital-combat-simulator/dcs-a-10c-ii-tank-killer/bugs/290922-reported-a10c-ii-losing-the-ccip-gun-reticle Hello, I'm not sure if this is a bug or by design. I encountered the following behavior after the update of the Open Beta of November 4, 2020. Summary If a GBU-38 or GBU-54 is selected in the DSMS page the round CCIP Gun Reticle is missing in GUNS mode. Steps to reproduce 1. Start "Instant Action" -> "A-10C II" -> "Easy East Georgia - Spring" 2. Select GBU-38 in DSMS page 3. Use Master Mode Control button to cycle back to GUNS mode Actual result The round CCIP Gun Reticle is missing and not displayed on the HUD. Only when the GBU-38 is deselected on the DSMS page ("WPNS OFF") the reticle will be displayed again. Expected result The round CCIP Gun Reticle is displayed on the HUD even if GBU-38 is still selected in DSMS. When repeating these steps with the old A-10C module I get the expected result. Best regards
  14. Taz1004, thank you very much for this mod, it looks awesome! Btw, in the A-10C-II I encountered the problem with an all blank TGP MFD. I then deleted the folders "metashaders2" and "fxo" in my Saved Games directory. After that everything worked perfectly
  15. Yes, I noticed that too in my missions with the A-10C II.
  16. Thanks guys for your help! And also for pointing out the appropriate sections in the NATOPS manual. This will clear things up for me. Thanks again and best regards.
  17. Hello, I'm a F/A-18C and flight sim beginner. Currently I'm practicing the VFR airfield landing pattern (800ft AGL at 350kn / turn left with 1% G / 600ft AGL at 250kn / full flaps and trim to on-speed AOA / bank left 30 degrees) in the F/A-18C. By now I'm getting pretty decent at it when the plane isn't carrying any weapons. But when the plane is fully loaded with fuel tanks, bombs, missiles etc. I'm having a hard time getting that last turn correctly (30 degrees bank left into final approach): even when I'm banking more than 30 degrees I'm not able to make the turn tight enough. I will have to pull the stick down to increase turn rate but from what I understand that should not be necessary. Is there a correct way to compensate for the additional weight the plane is carrying when it comes the landing pattern procedure? Best regards.
  18. Liebi Grüess us Bärn!
  19. I fully agree with this.
