  1. In the mission editor, adding a template item, the Patriot SHORAD causes the game to no longer respond to menu commands like save, or exit. you cannot select objects and have to force close the game. Anyone else find this to be the case? i have repeated it several times to confirm.
  2. i cannot seem to locate the flaps control switch in DCS BIOS
  3. Thanks for the info. i was able to get it to upload... however the issue i see now is that DCS-BIOS seems to lose sync with the position of the switch... and it shows multiple iterations of a switch position. FLAP_MODE 0 FLAP_MODE 2 FLAP_MODE 0 FLAP_MODE 2 FLAP_MODE 1 FLAP_MODE 0 This was one click of the switch from center to One position. FLAP_MODE 1 FLAP_MODE 2 Above is back to center FLAP_MODE 1 FLAP_MODE 2 To the other position. it seems to be very inconsistent with toggle switches, it is not specific to a line of code, this is straight from the serial monitor. The switch is configured with one leg to pin 12, the center to ground and the other leg to pin 9. ive tried different types of 3Pos toggle with no difference in results.
  4. looking good. im looking to make a small selection of switches using DCS-bios. but... seems like the version of the code has issues or something it wont compile properly to my arduino uno. had to go back from version 0.2.18 to 0.2.12.
  5. I must be dumb..... i am working with an Arduino UNO board and, arduino DCS-BIOS lib version 0.2.18 i had the code sort of working, minus the LED, updated to the new version and now i get the error: Arduino: 1.8.9 (Windows 10), Board: "Arduino/Genuino Uno" In file included from C:\Users\cdful\Documents\Arduino\libraries\dcs-bios-arduino-library-0.2.18\src/DcsBios.h:109:0, from C:\Users\cdful\AppData\Local\Temp\arduino_modified_sketch_26096\MasterCaution.ino:5: C:\Users\cdful\Documents\Arduino\libraries\dcs-bios-arduino-library-0.2.18\src/internal/Switches.h:6:26: fatal error: SwitchMatrix.h: No such file or directory compilation terminated. exit status 1 Error compiling for board Arduino/Genuino Uno. This report would have more information with "Show verbose output during compilation" option enabled in File -> Preferences. any ideas?
  6. I added waypoint's yesterday without issue. did you complete the alignment or did you start pre aligned?
  7. outstanding! this will be a great addition to the jet making it far more useful in mix air-frame engagements
  8. well dang it. i guess disregard. i loaded up the same mission i was testing and boom there it was.... ugh!! it really wasnt there. must have been a loading glitch or something. i was on a boat, so i went to land first to see and it showed up. then went to the boat and it was there. thanks though.
  9. So i picked up the update this morning, and was prepping for a carrier launch, went to click the VREST page and it seems to be missing. i didn't see anything in the changelog? Anyone able to confirm or deny this missing issue.
  10. mine works with the harrier, but the hornet only replies if i have guns, then it asks for WP0, marked with smoke. no request for GBU's or LMAV's. if i just have GBU's i get no response
  11. Hey if you could load a sample. i have followed your directions to the letter, and it works for the harrier, but i get no response for the hornet, unless i have the ammo for the cannon. then i get request GUN, WP, 0. it never fires the laser. thanks Woody.
  12. the videos appear to be broken?
  13. well your all doing better than me. my open beta isnt showing an update at all.... :(
  14. where are you all located. my beta version isn't registering an update yet?
  15. i have no joke spent $1000+ in anticipation of this module..... cant wait, thanks for the update.
  16. so what you're saying is when god made RIO's he realized he would need someone to take them to their mission.... so he used the left overs to make pilots?
  17. building a whole damn new machine.....
  18. this has been an issue for a while. if you go into the game settings, then select the AV8B you can change the alignment settings to pre-aligned. then go through the MFCD to DATA, A/C. then switch the INS switch to Align and you should be good to go. i believe those are the steps.... if need be i can get more detailed if that isnt enough?
