ports are forwarded. the reason i do not want to use the built in dyndns in the qnap is that i would like to use my domain name (http://www.example.com) and NOT use (http://www.dyndns.example.org)

i have a domain name that i had signed up with google. it is registered with enome. i also have a NAS box (Qnap 459) that i have a web page on. here is where i need help. i would like to use my domain name (http://www.example.com) but i have a dynamic ip. i think that i need to use dyndns.org standard services. they charge $30.00 per/yr. i dont mind that charge. but i do not know how to manipulate ANames, and CNames. the MX records i will let google handle. can someone direct me to a VERY simple guide as to how to set this up correctly?

on free flight low vis, trying to hook up to arco got a CTD both times we played. we were in the top 3 slots. it crashed just at the point where he was going to lower the boom.

can i ask what the issue was?

the cockpit view was verified from 3 others that were in the server playing the game. i can take a screen shot and post later today. . the thunderstruck mission was playable. that was the only issue... good mission. ty

if you use the target software to program your TM, then you will need to program ALL the hotas functions. once you run it, it will negate the built in warthog support within the game.

also in the "thunder struck" mission, the JTAC 9 line read back showed script error on the screen just prior to "read back correct". cant remember what the function was... sorry.

dragon entering into the A10 cockpit in the "hamburger hill" mission. the pilots view seems very odd. like it is too far back. also the hud appears to be zoomed to far in. i have only started one other of you missions within the 6.2 rel. so far they seem ok.

would ED/DCS consider a HMS (helmet mounted sight) into the A10? also will the new added plane contain this new feature?

we had play this tonight. while holding at IP waiting for the tornado's to do their thing. next thing we knew, the tornados called RTB without engaging the SA6. i was shot down by AAA along with 1 of tusk flt an the other tusk flt CTD after receiving a SPI. the other pig flt NOE'd to the SA6 and successfully strafed it.....hmmm!

@159th_Viper i dont think that its a matter of predicting the weather, but a CURRENT weather brief at the departing field listed in the detail screen. just as in real life, the pilot gets this brief from the ATIS from the field or closest weather station. at a minimum: wind direction, QFE, temp, cloud bases, 7/8th, 1/2, 1/4 broken, overcast... etc, etc.... i think that there is a way to take this info right from a specific file just before flight and export that info into the brief using some code/script. especially where dynamic weather is added to the mission and even the mission creator doesnt know what the weather will be until they click fly. the issue we see is that even in clear skies, winds, and outside temp are unknown until the CDU starts to report them at airborne. ED modeled this sim enough to where in cold windy conditions your engines will stall. i love this modeling. but how will the pilot know he is in these conditions? Edit: this is not a rant directed towards you. I respect your intelligence and value your opinion greatly. just trying to find a solution to this predicament.

how about just a simple ATIS for the departing field. nothing too complicating. . the mission brief knows what field you are departing from, so a quick export of current conditions written to the brief would (for me) be suffice. . i wasnt aware that the CDU could give winds before flight. i can see them once inflight though.

bluepilot no problem . TO: ED / testers is there a way to export weather info to the pilot brief once the the pilot chooses the mission?
