which a/p mode are you in/trying to use? alt, alt/hdg. or path?
-
nice work for just 1 person. hey ED, have any spare room in your studios / payroll?
-
very nice. cant wait.
-
8th VFS "Hustlers" is in agreement with postponing.
-
great app. really appreciate your effort and time. if i can make a suggestion. aircraft performance chart section for the take-off landing data. also could you make it rotate? ie: landscape mode?
-
sobek you would know better than i about the programming, but i swore that i had read on the forums that it was acknowledged there was. my bad. druid. we are referring to virtual flying. i have never done precision flying for real. i bet it was a blast when you did it. i'de be nervous as hell and white knuckled. question: is there any hydraulic "proportioning valve" in the flight controls system? if there is, could that be considered as dampening your JS curves??
-
@druid although i agree with your theory, if there is anyone/group that knows about precision flying, it would be the virtual blue angels and the patriots. i would deffer to them and ask if they use dead zones and or curves. and i would bet that most do. edit: also as for AAR, DCS places a zone around the tanker which reduces JS sensitivity. it has been discussed on here before.
-
hmmm... vietnam theater. nice.
-
dead zones can be useful even on the TM. as an example, your arms weight, when placed on the stick, will naturally exert force on the JS and tend to pull back and to the right (right-handed) on the stick (depending on JS position). and the opposite for lefties. this applies to all extremities. this also could be useful on the extremely sensitive sticks (digital), to elevate unwanted movement when your hands are manipulating the individual controls on the JS.

as mvgas stated post a track file. you'll receive a lot more pointers. dragon try ccip-rp mode edit: opps... my bad. i meant ccip-cr mode. pg. 360

@PeterP you are well respected on these forums and i do hope that this was not insulting to you in any way, as it was not intended as such.

something to keep the A10's from loitering at 20k....lol. just seems too easy for them compared to the KA's.

thank for the clarification on the migs. we had played this extensively yesterday. approx 3.5 hrs. no fps issues. there are however no rearming abilities at either farps for the BS's or ground power available. i would like to add a request. can we get more air threat targets for the BS's to carry out. maybe a bit more smarter? not sure if they are set as expert. they dont seem to engage as expected. also, make it a bit more challenging for the hog pilots to carry out their tasks by relying upon the BS's to eliminate the air threats.
-
ty strongharm for the coop version. are the migs supposed to be obliterated when you first join? the f15's and the patriot batteries wipe them out. the altitude of the migs seem pretty low. 2.5hrs into it and seems pretty stable so far.
-
hmm.. good point. i wonder what the correct string would be? just trying to be precise.
-
we had played a modified version. we added 2 ka-50 back into it, since the original had them. no issues so far other than the server crashed after about 2.5hrs.
-
thank you for posting this c0ff i am 'assuming' on the server-side, we are to limit the inbound?? lets say too 128??
-
if you see a bandit, you shouldn't be there. very seldom if at all, does an A10 go into an AO with air threats. let the fighters deal with it. why send a plumber to do an electricians work....lol
-
we have the new version running on the server. i just logged in to check the briefing and nothing more. i had noticed that the mission starts even when someone is in the spectator lounge. as a mission running on a server and having the game start is rather inconvenient. can you adjust the triggers to accommodate server usage?
