  1. if there is no ini setting to disable the river animation, i guess the solution would be to replace the textures used by the animation.
  2. hi, thanks for the material, but I am unfortunitly not the "Builder-Type" :D I can do very simple things with duck tape *g*, but not build something like this. I was thinking about the saitek pedals but i had the feeling theese are build more solid and precise. again, too bad there is no reviews on theese. When i read saitek, i have a big factory in mind somewhere in china where theese things are being produced with maximum profit in mind. Thoose simped ones seem to be assembled in germany from a very small company, maybe even just some guy. Generally speaks for better quality. maybe.

  4. i have a card from the same series: Radeon hd4890 i think the catalyst driver does not have the setting like the nvidia one.
  5. Update: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The issue is only in the new ati drivers 9.12. Hi, how do you read the heightmap in the mission editor ? normal color = low, light green = heigher dark green = even heigher ? do they colors have corrosponding values in meters ? i found i have alot difficulties designing missions around areas with mountains and general variance in height. usually in the game it turns out a sceneary looks completly different from how i thought it would look. :D

Hi, sehr cool ! auf die idee bin ich garnicht gekommen :) allerdings ist ein problem, auf dass ich bei der enzeklopedie gestossen binn, dass die Namen dort teilweise etwas anders sind als im Missionen-Editor. Werd ich mir nochmal anschauen. Mein Ziel ist es, eine Liste nur von den Einheiten zu haben, die man auch im Editor platzieren kann. Aufjedefall vielen Dank für den Tipp mit den Bildern und Beschreibungen ! :D

Hallo, nachdem ich das hin-und-her geklicke zwischen Mission Editor und Enzeklopädie leid war, habe ich mal eine bebilderte und druckbare Liste mit den Fahrzeugen, die im Missions-Editor platziert werden können erstellt.   14. i currently have the X52 pro. i like the throttle control alot. the jostick feels very nice and has many buttons. however after about a month of use it wears allready and gets "loose" in the middle. i am planning on buying the CH Fighterstick and the CH Pro Pedals next. from the pictures tho i feel the CH Fighterstick seems to have too few "normal" buttons. it has alot of 4-way collie heads, but i would appreciate normals buttons instead. with the pro pedals i am kinda scared they are too cloose to each other, because i am a big guy and i also have big feet. well, i'll try and see.

Hi, i just had an interesting crash. i was flying a winter-scenario on the 05. of january with a temperature of -10 degrees ©. i turned on the rotor-anti-ice at the start of the flight, but during the flight i still got some EKRAN "turn on roter antiice" warnings. then after about 15-20 minutes in the mission, i suddenly loose rotor power and then crash. did i miss something, or was the antiice maybe not strong enough to cope with the temperature ? i have attached the track-file if anyone feels like having a look at it :) thanks for information :P hmmm.trk
  17. Hi, no i thank you for informing me :) so in other words, in the mb it is not possible to set up a wingman of a different helicopter type. at least not in a way that its possible to communicate with them in the game ? Thanks !

Okay, now i know what the problem is: when i change the helicopter type from ka50 for the wingman to say mi26, it will change "my" helicopter to that type aswell. so it will allways change the type to the same in the whole group. now how do i set it up so that my wingman is flying a different helicopter ? thanks.
  19. okay, so how do it set him up then ? if i set him in the same group as me, then my helicopter automaticly becomes an ai controlled helicopter too. if i set him in a seperate group, i dont know how to set him to the same runway to start from. also he wont respond to me if i start him in the air. ? thanks.
  20. well, here's the mission file i created. when i use the com menu to communicate to him (i assume him being wingman 2), i get no response. i have set my datalink id to 1. note: to make him appear, you need to fly into the triggerzone1. Escort1.miz
  21. hmm. actually how do i add the wingman in the mission editor ? i cannot put him in the same group as myself, and if i put him as a standalone "group", he doesnt respond to me ingame ? thanks.
  22. hi, thanks. now where you say that i think there is a command like "hold position". so i could land with him and then tell him to hold position after we landed maybe. gotta try that.
  23. hi, yes i know i could set a speed in the mission builder and then follow it in the game. however, i'd like to fly in variable speed in the game, and decide the speed in the game- and want the ai to follow my speed.

Hi, i was thinking about making a mission where i have to escort another aircraft from one to another airport. the aircraft would then land on the airport and i would fly back to the first airport to pick up another aircraft for escort. there are two methods to create it: 1. add aircraft(s) as wingman and tell it to follow me through the wingman-voice comands. Problem with this approach: no way to tell wingman to land on the target airport once reached. 2. create aircraft(s) with waypoints to the target airport, with last waypoint being of type "Landing". Problem with this approach: aircraft will fly on its own pace, and i gotta follow it. i would rather be able to be in control of the flight speed myself. Any idea, how to setup that mission in a way that a) the escorted aircraft(s) will land on the target airport and b) they will follow my speeding ? Thanks.
