    Yes AOA vane freeze is a real thing but I doubt the Mikoyan design bureau didn't take into account the operating temperature on the Mig29. With a stuck AOA sensor, you're not able to perform high AOA turns, best rate turn, and also AFCS protections stop working.

    That 30 km shot is way too optimistic. I’d say that’s more for the "old 27ER" , but even then, you’ll see the enemy notch your radar. I’ve practiced this in PvP, and the only way I’ve found is to fire an ER (which is kind of dumb) when you see the Sparrow lofting—cranking at that moment makes your missile arrive much earlier. We’re talking about something like 15 km. In the video, you’re cranking as if you were in an F-18. That doesn’t work here. You need to get closer. This is basically a "phone booth fight".

    While attempting to perform a best-rate turn at 900 km/h, the AOA indicator became stuck after a few turns, resulting in loss of valid AOA readings resulting in the loss of angle-of-attack limit protection. Is this a modeled feature or a system malfunction? I was unable to find any reference regarding operational limitations in the manual. Kola Map. OAT=-2ºc so its not very cold.

    What is the loadout we can expect? I see R73 and R27ER in the video but not detailed on the store page.

    ACK button. EGI ones by turning on EGI on CDUs, and Parking Brake by releaseing it.EAPS warning I could not find anything wrong but still there.

    Yeah....I finally got it... and tbh its quite fun to fly. Textures don't look as bad as I thought. Most important thing for me, the flight model is worth the price.

    Amen! Paid $60 for the phantom and 55 for the Apache. 70 bucks for that 3d model is a slap in the face. Also, only thing was a worth a buy for me was the drone thingy....Not usable btw. You can only see video feed.

    ok, you guys might be right.... the thing is I don't know neither the texture quality in game set by ccs nor how does it looks in game. But I'll wait till some reviews. You guys are right, Apache looks way better, and Chinooks starting to grow on me

    I'm not sure if it's realistic, but I followed what a real Phantom pilot said. It worked. The first half of the video corresponds to leaving the controls neutral. Applying maximum opposite rudder also has no effect.
