    Mirrors

I noticed that you can't see the eject arm switch change position when you toggle it, in the mirror, but you can see it animate if you turn around and look at it
  2. The O+ has the side benefit of not being owned by facebook
  3. I'd definitely like it if he called out my airspeed in a dogfight
  4. I use the Saitek switch panel, it happens to fit perfectly over the mounting rails used to attach the TMWH throttle to the J-PEIN desk mounts I have. I too fly in VR only, so I use it to control the AFCS settings, cockpit lighting, and currently use the rotary switch for waypoint changes. (haven't really figured out a good use for that). Landing gear knob I use for parking brake, since I use the Saitek throttle quadrant for flaps, gear and hook.
  5. I'd like to be able to position the comms menu, because I use look to click in the cockpit when in VR and the comms menu is a little too high, I'd prefer it be lower, but making it user adjustable to people's liking would be best
  6. I tried this and saw no discernible difference, but at this point it was worth a shot.
  7. cool, I'll have to read that, thanks!
  8. So I happen to catch Top Gun on AMC today and now watching it with a more critical eye noticed that when Maverick is trying to lock up the Mig-28 at the beginning the VDI and the controls under it looked significantly different. He's apparently trying to lock it up with a "Mid Compression Bypass" panel, accuracy aside, is this an early A cockpit? Because I couldn't find pictures of this panel anywhere else. I did find this one which is pretty interesting, this one is a prototype right?
  9. Is it possible you mixed the discussion of VR terrain improvements with the discussion about Pimax users getting some 30% boost messing with Nvidia drivers, that wasn't working for everyone? That's the only thing I can think of that sounds like what you were saying.
  10. The function of the mirrors seems backward in DCS, if I get close to it I should see more of myself, and when I move away I should see more of the surrounding area. it operates the reverse of that
  11. I assumed you were on open beta and it wasn't updating for you. Misunderstanding.
  12. You can force it.
  13. Fix: https://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=3892202&postcount=17
  14. I'm using a Saitek 3 axis Throttle Quadrant for my Flaps, Gear and Hook, so I added these to get the axis for Gear and Hook. {action=device_commands.GEAR_Handle, cockpit_device_id=devices.GEARHOOK, name=_('Gear Handle')}, {action=device_commands.HOOK_Handle, cockpit_device_id=devices.GEARHOOK, name=_('Hook Handle')}, It's quite handy to have these on my right side when flying in VR
  15. perhaps a 2 min animation of you rummaging through the storage box past the half opened pack of charms and Chapstick looking for the red gel, and then you can optionally curse yourself out because you remember where you left it back on the boat.
  16. I have mine plugged into a powered USB hub and it stays off when I restart the PSU
  17. Has anyone used captoglove with DCS? Is it worth it?
  18. On the subject of ghost hands and stick alignment, I noticed something in the No Man's Sky update video that adds VR, when the player jumps into the cockpit the in game hands attach to the joystick and throttle. It might be useful to have an option that if you're using VR hands in the cockpit, that as soon as there's input on the throttle axis or the stick the in game hands would attach to the stick and throttle regardless of placement.
  19. In the groove for the weapon selector you can see the TID through the joystick. I'm playing in VR, so it may not be visible from the monitor POV
  20. In watching people play with live RIO's on Youtube, one of the useful things they do, that Jester does not, is airspeed call outs during engagement, because it's not on the HUD and you tend to be focused on the other plane, I'd find this extremely valuable have.
  21. The visor is down, but the adjustment knob is up on the helmet.
  22. Sounds like your sensors are having trouble tracking. Make sure you're in a decently lit room. I've taken to turning off my monitor because it seems like the headset occasionally tracks the game being displayed on the monitor.
  23. I too would like the wing sweep to be assigned to an axis
