apparantly the rio can manually activate them (ph act button). id love to know exactly how that works though, is the signal embedded in the awg 9 radar transmission? so i need to maintain radar contact for it to work? if so is that contact with the target or just the missile?? if i lose tws lock the wcs will continue to update the target position via dead reckoning, does this mean the missile will still go to the postion the wcs thinks it is and then go active??

mines different to thjat, i dont get ethe 3 freq options. onlyu min and max which ive set at 2500 and 2600

How does the missile active command work from the rio pit? Is the signal in the radar emmission or something else? Ie could you turn cold and then send the command are do you need to send the command 1st? with stt the phoenix is semi active all tye way, can the go active command still work with that? what happens if you have multiple phoenix in the air and you press tye button? Do they all go active or just the last 1 fired?

Cracking reply, thanka io try this tomorow. I did see custom profile game specific but didnt notice tye 3 settings, il have a proper go at it tomorow. After 2 more game starts it boosted both times with no overclock

570 lol what more info would you like? ps it seems fine at 2600 mhz so far when it does boost

very early days yet but ive fired up dcs 5 times so far and only once has it activated the boost clocks. its sitting at 570 mhz with the obvious terrible fps. any suggestions or is it likely to be an early driver problem?

hmmm when it clocked properly i got a nice fps increase (in a VERY heavy loaded server i was getting 20fps in a specific place im now getting 30) and in dogfight mission the fps is the same (locked at 60) but its deffinately smoother, possibly a frame time improvement. sometimes it doesnt boost the clocks though and sits at 500 ish mhz so the fps is crap

got it today, in dogfight mission i was locked at 60 fps with 2080ti, im gettign 20 fps with the 6800xt overclocked to 2600mhz lol. me thinks theres a software issue i need to sort out

confirmed it was the stick claibration causing it. i recallibrated it and the problem has dissappeared

turns out my stick calibration was off centre for some reason, that would explain my piss poor flying this week lol looks like iv been subconciously holding off to keep it straight. gonna test it in a minute
