Same problem. FLIR imaging is terrible, and gain control not working.

Well, to me that brings up two issues: 1. Did I as RIO designate the target using LANTIRN trigger full action? Yes. And the bomb drop cue appears, the steering cueing appears and the target information shows up in the LANTIRN pod. Then I switch to the PILOT seat and all that usually disappears, JESTER says area track and begins his search. Whether I command JESTER to QDES or whether I switch to RIO command QDES myself, nothing happens - the designation is gone. 2. Did I as PILOT command JESTER to search and designate a target? Yes, and everything seems to work as intended. My problem is not with JESTER, my problem is with me as pilot, then RIO, then pilot again. It has worked twice, but failed about 50 times. I have watched Redkite's video from March 12, 2019 and it worked for him. Like I said, it has worked for me twice, but why does it fail and lose designation the other 50 times? Thanks for your interest though. Valid question. My question for you is: Are you designating as the RIO? Or commanding JESTER to designate?

As Pilot, using JESTER to manage the LANTIRN works ok. But he cannot always find the target I want. So I switch to the RIO seat and operate the LANTIRN myself. After I designate the target, I switch to the Pilot seat. After I switch, JESTER announces he is switching to area track, the designation disappears, and he starts searching again. And if I try QDES - it does not restore the view of the target that I designated either. I thought it was possible to switch from RIO to Pilot and maintain the designated target and continue the attack with JESTER making his usual callouts. It has actually worked that way a couple of times. Am I missing something?

Ok. Success. The problem was that Biff takes a long time to go wheels up. So my solution was to circle right after takeoff until Biff was wheels up. Then proceeded to Apex with him.

Also having problems with this mission getting stuck. Wait for Biff at the hold for runway 03R, get takeoff clearance, head to Apex. I orbit Apex waiting for him to catch up. Biff finally says wheels up, Kermit says "Biff let me know when you pass Apex". Biff says "Wilco". And that is the last I hear from him. He winds up formed on me, but no further prompts or communications. Never prompted to contact departure either.

Success. I chose F2 (More explanation) instead of F1 (Move On) in response to her SA cue discussion and it continued to completion.

For what it is worth, I flew it again last night. As Lotus finishes her discussion of the SA cue, there is an F10 response required. F1 is move on, F2 is more explanation. I always answer F1 and she always responds with "Cool" as best as I can remember. Then nothing. No more texts from her, no more F10 on menu. I am going to try it again today and answer F2 for more explanation. And thanks for reporting this. I really enjoy this whole campaign, even with the minor errors in text/voice such as "when you are flying in the Hog you will always have M4 in the upper left of the TGP screen" in text, while Lotus is saying M1. lol

I had the same problem. I solved it the same way ASAP did. I flipped the switch out of man reversion then back into man reversion and the chief responded.

Hmm. I have flown this mission 3 times. And it stops at the same point each time. And it is not at a point where I am asked for a F10 response. She gets done talking about the SA cue. And then nothing. There is no F10 option. There is no text from her asking me to space bar or F10 response. Nothing. I will fly it again and when I am given the option to ask for more details I will ask for more details. But the last time I had that option was several minutes before the SA cue description. I am just wondering what comes after the orbit of the steer 4 airport and all the discussion of the TGP? Maybe just go to steer 5 and hope the mission picks up again?

Mission still stuck. Right after Lotus discusses the SA cue. Last patch did not fix this.

Ok. So I followed the youtube instructions and removed that Windows store. We'll see.

Throttle problems Thanks for the post. I do not have a windows store, or cannot find it. I have a Microsoft Store, though. Is that what you meant? Also, this problem happens with Target and without Target. And it happens with my X52 Hotas and a Thrustmaster 1600 joystick. Each time I check settings for proper operation. Usually I have to invert it, so I check that box and it operates correctly from left at idle, to fully right at afterburner. Then I launch the training mission which starts with engines running on the taxiway. The engines appear to be operating at 65%. But as soon as i try to reduce power or increase power - the engines go to full afterburner and I have no throttle control. Maybe I should uninstall that last update from a few weeks ago. I did not have this problem last year.

Yeah, you read that correctly. Although this is a windows 10 computer. my other computer still has windows 7 in order to play Janes FA-18 which cannot run on windows 10. So since it does work correctly on the windows 7 computer, I also think the problem is the driver on the windows 10 computer. Or something wrong with the installation of DCS or Target. For what its worth, I also tried my X52 HOTAS. The X52 throttle acts up the same way as my Warthog. I will let you know. ))))))

Throttle Problems I talked with Home Fries a couple of weeks ago about problems with the CTS. I got that fixed by reinstalling. But now I have a new problem. As I began testing the script for the FA-18, my throttle does not work correctly. When I check it in the Controls menu, it is backwards. So I invert it. Then I start the training mission or the mission on the runway. The engines are running at 65% regardless of where I have the throttle. As soon as I touch the throttle, it goes into afterburner and stays there. It does this with Warthog HOTAS connected to DCS, using Target GUI, or with CTS generated script. I have flashed the firmware a couple of times, done the driver update, and updated both DCS World and DCS Beta. I would suspect my throttle is hosed, except that when I connect it to my other Windows 7 machine with Janes FA-18 installed and Target GUI. everything works perfectly. Suggestions???
