Ok I've uninstalled the mod, deleted all profiles for f14 then reinstalled it and the list came back. I just loaded my saved .diff.lua files and it's good to go now. -

Run repair no fix Is there a repair for mods? it only relates to the f14 not having all the commands in the keyboard list. -

Thanks @draconus, that got me going a little, however the list still doesn't appear right. It's only brough back some of the keyboard name bindings back, but not all of them - so I still can't import my saved profiles as the keyboard name doesn't exist??? For instance, I can check from my throttle.diff.lua file and see Altitude Hold On as a name but on the keyboard list this doesn't exist. There are a number of these missing AFCS Roll,AFCS Pitch,catapault etc... I can tell the default.lua file is working as I have a custom mapping at the top -Hydraulic Iso... Thanks -

Hi After, the update the F14 Pilot and Rio are missing the keyboard controls, if you see the screenshot all controls are gone. I can't control anything. I have my binding profiles backup, but these cant be imported because the keyboad stuff is missing. Any ideas how to get it back. The default.lua file is here C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\Mods\aircraft\F14\Input\F-14B-Pilot\keyboard\ and doesn't appear corrupted. Thanks

Just regarding the first point you do have the PH weapon selected? Easy to miss sometimes when changing weapons. Maybe just reselect cycle to PH. Some time s it’s loaded ph missile but the counter shows 0. If you do notice it taking rather long just pal and reset to tws as long as you have the radar pointing in the right direction he should pick it up quicker. -

Has anyone had much success firing from an altitude between 30k&42k ft M1.2 at a target 45-60nm away at around 10k ft on a hot non manoeuvring target. TWS, nose, small. Between 0&5 deg loft? Im finding that each time the missile decends from 25k to 10k it just runs out of juice. Because it hit the thicker air. Im seeing the 54 get to about 14-15 seconds and then it’s so slow the count actually starts climbing up. When I check f6 view the bandit still hasn’t turned the missile still has 5nm to go. This is a different story to a bandit that stays around 25k to 35k. Just any target that stays hot around 10k or lower can just press without being hit. Can we no longer look to engage targets at <10k from distance?Just like some other opinions on this. -

Yep, wait till you merge and your ac is stuck loading for 20 seconds I had the same issue in mp when no one on the same side is in a tomcat -

Those discussing the tws small size (regarding this patch), for closer in bandits I’ve found this doesn’t work because you need to accept then you are nose hot to a bandit within 120 or IR range. If you get to this with in this range something has gone wrong your tactics need to be engaging at a greater then 50nm range. Instead go to large or normal mode let out a warning shot and reposition. They will drop and run because you have an active missile out on them. Don’t expect a kill, move to a more favourable position. -

Try between 10-15 deg also if bandit is at 30k you are at 40k dive fast to 30ishk -

yep, what's your ping? Sorry @IronMike to ask a why didn't my missile hit question but why didn't it hit (lol) I'm trying to better understand the new guidance. I'm seeing this happening alot. In this case a TWS small shot. Nose hot bandit not manoeuvring getting the pitbull rwr last moment only to dive yet still avoid the hit (I know he is fast) but it just seams the Aim54 is still to slow or guidance issue? Or has it just been notched in the verticle. Is this just what we have to accept now that it will not work on any sort of high g manoeuvring target? Thanks for your time! Aim54Mk60.zip.acmi -
Just simply jump in the f15 load up with 120’s apply full burner and point to the moon. I found it will keep climbing and speed keeps increasing. You can do this on the growling sidewinder and lob 120’s from further the aim54 can reach, crank or notch and nothing will hit because you are out running and turning anything, it’s not sr71 like the bug last time but I just don’t see how this is possible. Just would like a second opinion if the performance is accurate for a f15.

Full 120 load/ half load and no load, level flight between 30k and 60k. With out tanks.

Should the F15 be performing at M2.3 at 30k currently under load? is this normal?
