Make sure to check the special settings for the mi24, the "control helper" can some times turn back on and it really f**ks things up. Makes it feel like someone else is fighting both you and the AP.

Mi-24P autopilot and weapons guides, + Aerodynamics
Rover replied to AeriaGloria's topic in DCS: Mi-24P Hind
The autopilot part helped me alot . Although the largest part was it helping me realize something was wrong. Like the "control helper" having been reactivated since I last played. -
I just have to share this interesting interview with some awesome (and slightly scary) footage from cold war era Swedish air force. Maybe this could be a collection thread for this kind of videos? English text is available!

Sadly my PC started crashing but it was alot of fun up to that point. Making up for reds being faster and more heavily armed was a challenge. Stinger infantry was crucial in stopping them from just going high and fast. However the only "unbalance" I noticed was the lack of gazelle pilots compared to mi24s. But that's just how it is with new and old modules I guess. How did it all end?

I'm no expert but I think its like this: RB75 is a Swedish AGM-65 RB75T have a heavier warhead (Tung=heavy) RB75B is a fictional Swedish variant of a AGM-65B (Sensor has less fov with better "zoom").

With rb05's you are limited to carrying only 2 missiles and the other pylons can only take pods or air to air. With the Rb75 you can carry 4, have longer range and the fire & forget capability gives you a much better chance of survival. However they have much less COOL factor

I know its difficult to identify targets with the EP-13 sight in the Viggen and I have probably done the same thing but guys please try to VID before killing the poor ground troops. They have a hard time as it is with the enemy team, not to mention they have to dig a hole to shit in!

I cant figure it out. If I kill the engine in flight I still have pressure. If I "program" a hydraulic pump failure in the mission editor I lose pressure, but cant lower the gear more than 45 degrees, no matter how much "rocking" or diving I do. Flaps in neutral. Then they tell you to put the gear in neutral... can't find a keybind for that. How do you guys do it?

Maybe they could simulate having both eyes open in both VR and on a screen. Right eye in the sight and the left eye open to watch the missile controls and sensing helicopter movement.

Just a short little visual bug report, you probably already know this but when opening the Pilot door, a short piece of the handle mechanism wire stays in place. Reproduceable Guess you don't need track file for this so here's a screenshot.

Yea, Either in the kneeboard like in the Viggen or in the cockpit like the Huey would help alot.

Some white tires in front of each helipad would bee nice so you can tell where to land, other then that I LOVE the blue FARP/FOB.

I've had the same problem. Sometimes there's a orange map marker. I also can't see airport (or farp) resources when in a pilot slot, and when rearming it don't show available ordnance quantity. Maybe it's a local problem for a few players?

Nice, I clearly need to make one for my car
