  1. Thanks guys but the product page makes no mention of missions for the Hornet, F-14, etc. Can the developer give some insight? Will there be single player mission content using the super carrier (and hornet) or will it basically be something that can be used by mission designers or in multplayer? Thanks, Brett
  2. What sort of content is going to be provided with the super carrier? In particular will there be instant action or "full" missions provided with the carrier or will the super carrier replace the regular carrier in the current instant action and core missions for the hornet and tomcat?
  3. LOL!!! I made the same exact mistake. I didn't land but I was over Kutasi and realized my mistake
  4. Same opinion here. It is relatively easy and relatively quick but it is well done. Where lots of campaigns have missions that last an hour or more these missions are short with limited transit distances. It is a great campaign to do if you know you typically have limited time per session
  5. I have to admit, I was a little skeptical at first but after seeing the promo video I am pretty impressed. I just hope it will not be a VR slideshow
  6. I just finished up the three campaign series. I really liked how each flight built upon the last and really served as a great way to learn the A-10C. It has been a module that I have had since it first came out but never invested the time to get to know her. Now after completing your series I feel very comfortable and mostly proficient in all aspects of the A-10 and am looking forward to taking on the other campaigns. Hope you do the same series for some of the other popular modules (F/A-18, Harrier, F-16, M2000....heck any of them) Thanks, Brett
  7. Thanks Sabre! So basically just light things up in the kill box until the flight goes Winchester
  8. Just a quick question about the intent of the BAI Mission. I am able to use custom waypoints to put the four corners of the Kill box on the TAD. Inside that I see a FLOT of tanks many of which are in the woods. Behind them are artillery groups and convoys of BMPs coming to the front. Is the intent to get the artillery units in the rear and BMP convoys as they come forward or to just kill anything in the box for the vul period and it doesn't really matter? Thanks, Brett
  9. Thanks Sabre! I will try to give myself a little more room. I had some concern about exiting the "range" and getting the "knock off" call. Really enjoying this series of campaigns and learning the A-10C
  10. One of the areas in which I am having some difficulty is "getting" everything done from the IP to the target when coordinating with a JTAC. This is particularly the case with the Maverick. Example - After taking out the pre-planned SEAD in TTQ-14 with MK82Air and Guns I enter an orbit around IP Adder as instructed. I get the 9-line, I either enter in coordinates into a waypoint with the CDU or hook it with the TAD once receiving the message. I then attempt to locate the target with the TGP or Mk 1 eyeball ad possibly turn it into a SPI and slave everything to the SPI. After this break out of the orbit and go in hot. Depending upon the diameter of the IP orbit (usually banked about 30-35 deg) I often find myself right on top of the target with little time to get the Maverick to lock. I do admit mavericks are not a strong part of my game. Any advice or tips would be appreciated. I have watched Recon Stewart's videos as well. I suppose it might just be that I have to get "better" or improve my proficiency (which is fine).
  11. I would be interested in the tiered qual campaign like the A-10 for the F/A-18. For that matter almost any of the modules. It is a great way to get you to focus on a particular capability to become proficient in and then build on that. I just finished the the Basic and Advanced for the A-10C and have really enjoyed the process
  12. Thanks Eviscerador, I just finished the first two Maple Flag Campaigns and used them as opportunities to teach myself the a-10C as each test built upon the last. I am leaning towards taking on the 3rd one to get some JTAC experience. I basically watched some training videos (grim reapers) and did the relative training missions and practice mission for each one prior to taking on the eval mission. So far really enjoying the learning experience. I am pretty comfortable with the systems and employing the weapons. Still have to "think" about it a little bit or find myself doing things with the wrong SOI but overall improving. I am hoping to be competent before taking on the story driven campaigns
  13. I am a bit late to the game but that isn't necessarily a bad thing as the product is mature at this point. I originally purchased the A-10C when it first came out and just started to sit down and learn it. I am really enjoying it so far and actually find it fairly user friendly once you get accustomed to it. I am finishing up the first two Maple Flag Campaigns (Basic and Advanced Qualification) and am trying to decide where to go from there. Should I proceed on to the Tactical Campaign from Maple Flag or take on one of the story driven campaigns. I actually own all of the DLC campaigns for the A-10C. Any recommendations are appreciated. Thanks, Brett
  14. I am not sure what is causing it. I know when I did exit it there was a longer pause than usual and I was expecting a crash but it ended with the debrief screen then the campaign completion screen. Maybe its an Anti-Virus thing
  15. Hi, I am using the most recent open beta version of the game
  16. I just completed the last mission of the campaign this morning and it worked fine for me. No crash, 100 percent on the mission, campaign "congratulations" closeout screen as well. Just providing another data point
  17. Does the kit come with a step by step procedure for doing the modification and do I need to use the thrustmaster software to recalibrate it or can this be done through windows. I do not currently use the TM software
  18. Thanks Rudel! Better than what I expected
  19. What sort of missions are included with this module. I have seen some youtube videos showing air races. Are those included? Formation flying? Is the content only for the caucuses or is there content on the other maps? Any insight is appreciated Thanks, Brett
  20. Just looking to give you some feedback. I have been able to get your first mission to work normally after a fresh boot of both the PC and the Vive. Whatever causing it not to work is the same issue with the training missions in which there are "highlighted buttons".
  21. Thanks Forexkor! More than anything I am just happy to have it acknowledged and feel great that it is being worked on. I do appreciate the update as well. Kind Regards, Brett
  22. I had a slightly different experience with the new beta. When I started the mission after updating I was actually able to get it to work. When I had to restart the mission it no longer would work. I haven't had any issues with either bird in other campaigns or instant action or anything else. I am a little disappointed about no feedback from the developer...even something as a simple as an acknowledgement of the problem and will look into it
  23. Thanks for the idea enedhil. Unfortunately, this didn't work for me. I never use the hand controllers in DCS and even experimented with turning them on and off...no luck still. Thanks anyways!
