  1. just tried it again, FOV is wrong, values are right. maybe I edited the wrong value but [13] is the one that worked in the past
  2. just started the game and jumped into a hornet in SP, the FOV is clearly wrong, but the values in the .lua are still correct. I attached the track so you can see what happened. it won't let me upload the new lua file FOVchange.trk
  3. I edited this Lua file under "[13] = {--default view" for each module to have them all at the same FOV to 1) have a better sense of scale and 2) keep it consistent between all modules. However recently after some time or after joining multiplayer servers these values have reset to the standard values which are all over the place with some being at 60, others being at 110, almost double. Modifying the Lua each time is fairly work-intensive and even with backups of the modified file it still makes it annoying to have to go to the location every time. SnapViews.lua is located in the default location in the Saved Games folder at C:\Users\Matti0503\Saved Games\DCS.openbeta\Config\View SnapViews.lua
  4. I imagine that's coming with the other HOTAS function improvements they want to make, like double clicking SCS fwd to toggle EMCON
  5. Personally I don't have any problems with the way it works right now since you don't need to undesignate to redesignate for JDAM TOO attacks, was just saying how I would have made it myself
  6. Well if I designed the system I would have made it so the first press undesignates the TGT but retains FLIR pointing and a second press returns it to SP but that's probably not how it works irl

  8. TBH if they finish the Litening with the Spanish Symbology and then make the ATFLIR with the correct symbology I most definitely wouldn't be mad. For me, that would be a really nice end result where the Spanish Hornets can have the Spanish TGP and the US Hornets can have the US TGP. (Of course, this is what would happen ideally IMO)
  9. Really can't wait for coordinates and the north arrow. Finally, I can triple bag my hornet and do AFAC for A-10s instead of it being the other way around

I was recently trying to make a mission where you need to strike an insurgent hideout but one of the vehicles that I was missing to really get the correct feel was a Technical but I couldn't find one in any of the factions. I feel like this would make a neat little addition for Mission Designers.

  16. Awesome! The Fact that there is no Rhino in DCS right is a shame so I hope this project goes well and can maybe even be integrated into the base game
  17. I am having the same problem as viper, with the sensor up and down moving the tpod location like the TDC up/down controls, however on the radar, it does what it should
  18. I would absolutely love for that to be implemented. Being able to put in custom names for every player would make the game even more realistic and take some work off of skin creators, as some squadrons (especially Demo Teams such as the Virtual Blue Angels) have a custom skin for each of their members with their name and a specific tail number/paint job applied. I've tried making myself a skin with my name on it, but it is hard to match the specific font used in the skin I was using as a base. Correct positioning and mirroring to the other side while editing liveries in a program such as GIMP is also pretty tricky.
  19. I would love to have a KC-130 to provide AAR and not have to deal with the crappy AI or a C-130 to drop paratroopers or motorized squads to take over airfields and aid in ground battles

  21. Go to your desired radio page (COM1/COM2) by pressing the buttons on the UFC. Then move the cursor up once to have the frequency under the channel number selected. Now type in your desired frequency for that preset and press ENTR
