  1. Tired to install F5E R through new launcher, did not notice all other modules are unchecked, uninstalled all (10+ modules) including terrain. All (Most?) files seems to be in the folders, but just DCS marked them as uninstalled. Is there a way to recover removed module without redownloading?

  4. yes, manual cut out is a walkaround, but placing chorma key on the virtual parts to be replaced would make it way more precise and faster

  6. Works great in Q3+MSFS, this guy changed cockpit material to pink @BIGNEWY, ED team, would be great to have this option. Quality passthrough is coming to budget VR headsets and it is a next level experience.
  7. JTAC with combined arms: F10 shows only friendly aircraft. Is there a way to actually be in AWACS \ GCI role and see what friendly radars are seeing? Would the same be with LotAtc?
  8. Parked aircrafts or any static object placed on the map, when it is within visibility or preload (not sure) range. The closer pov to the static object the higher FPS hit
  9. Two projector screen, few add-ons, jumped from 40 to 90fps. Very smooth. Thank you for releasing in stable. Also for those who are CPU limited: I tried all possible ways to optimize video, Nvidia settings, DCS video settings, changed shadows SSAA, clouds etc. Would get 2-5 fps gain. The biggest fps killer turned out to be objects places on the map. I had ~15 static objects on the airfield, deleted them, got +20fps.

  11. Does heat seaker have the same info as radar to lead, ie target velocity and speed
  12. In IR modae, radar off, does it lead target or chases the heat?

  14. Same issue: AMRAAM randomly stops firing after target is locked. No matter how long the trigger is pressed, no fire. Shoots fine without a lock, in pitbull, with a sec delay. Others reported the same issue

  17. shooting from above the target means radar sees it against the ground making it easy to notch
  18. A bit confused on BVR tactics "Stay lower than target, turn 90 digress from bandit radar for effective notching" vs "turn away from missile, full power" vs "Stay higher to have higher energy state, and longer radar range. " How to combine those tactics?

  20. @thepretende assuming you have done calibration (in calib pro) and exported multi.procalib files 1) run FE display pro 2) right click on monitors that should be warped and select related multi.procalib flies 3) select "settings set #" and "save as" those settings 4) desktop (not window) warp ON 5) in settings \ inputs assign hotkeys for warp and switch between settings sets
  21. Unfortuantly had to just disable SSA as it gives random violent viabtaions after 2.8 update. Hornet.

  24. @=Andre= in 2.7 it was working perfect - engines, bumps, gear coming up and down, flaps. Accurately reflecting change in strength. After upgrade to 2.8 stable only few effects remain OK. The rest disappeared or behaves as if it lost sensitivity. I.e. gear have no effect from 1 to 100. Bumps no effect at all at slow speed, then make very violent vibration during speeding up, then disappear, even though still on runway. No engine rumble. PS had not realised how much immersion SimShaker adds until it disappeared, as if DCS lost all the depth (not a an advertising:)
