Hi, most likely the script texture line has changed in the default script. Same happened with some other aircraft (S3-B, A400M, B-52, B1-B) where the texture lines were written differently, where the tank line was written in a new way. I remember someone changing/copying the lines from older liveries, and then they worked again. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3347014/

Thank you RAVEN, there is no offense taken, I just laughed a bit of enjoyment. As you see, I already got a reply from Silver Dragon too. It's good we ask about these things and how they are progressing. It's good info, and it's good to share our wishes ! Someone always jumps out of the mist to respond or react to solve the problem, but only if we let it be known to others, right..

That's impossible when selecting predefined specific frequencies. And not with today's AI control options. But why would only the cockpits and aircraft designs be as advanced as they are today, and not the airports? With today's AI powered possibilities, it would not be such a huge step. It will be like an airport assistant using correct ground, departure, and arrival procedures and frequencies. See it like this as an idea, for example Incirlik AFB, the tower freq is 122.10. When selecting this freq on your comms panel, a drop-down menu appears with options : 1 startup, 2 taxi, 3 take off ect. Select an option of what you want to do, and the (AI) Tower responds with how it wants you to proceed, in junction with other air traffic (dynamic AI) moving around the airport, controlling traffic and procedures. It also handles handoffs like it does at a real airport, because in fact, there are a lot more important frequencies at an airport than just the Tower, right ? But yet simplified in the advanced simulation of DCS, so it becomes more user-friendly. I don't really want to start a difficult topic with all the unnecessary arguing, but just share a broader vision and open mind of possibilities that are available to us in today. You see AI integrated in almost every website, and even here on the DCS page... Isn't this how DCS started ? With just an idea of a more detailed flight combat sim than any other existing ? And remember, this was in 2008, 17 years ago (RU:17 OCT 2008: ENG 10 DEC 2008) ! Kind regards, RWC.

That would still be a 3rd party external add-on, as thinking of a more integrated automated ATC-system within DCS. But it's a plan for the future, as i read above.

Thanks CH, is it maybe possible to have this (with) trailer added in the future ? Think it would be a great asset to your collection... -

Hi CH, Somewhere I remember the HEMTT M983 TRACTOR was with an empty trailer for tank transport (USA pack ?), but either I forgot where it's located or, has it been removed ? I thought I used it once before.... I saw it does exist with the Patriot missile or, a similar type in the German pack, the HX81 Tank transporter. Some help or info please ? RWC -
Hi, requesting an automated ATC system for approach, departure, ground and carrier operations, instead of constantly needing to use the F10 Menu ATC. Kind regards, RWC

Hi DCS Team, It seems, the mission editor does not save all the lines/ polygons/ actions/ triggers/ handles from a mission when saving/ creating a mission template. It just saves all the planes, ships, vehicles, etc. So in other words, when adding an existing template/ mission in to the newly created mission, all the lines/ polygons/ actions/ triggers/ handles, are missing. It would be great if we save a mission template, and load it, that all the triggers are saved as well, not just the materials. Kind regards, RWC

Not all the models are working after all the updates. But here is the pack with only the working mods. https://www.dropbox.com/scl/fi/g8tor3srg47ob491wc1om/Modern-Submarine-Pack-edited.rar?rlkey=xb4i1p6j39qlfgmtetb45h5yp&st=mm1vr8vv&dl=0

Yes indeed, very impressive. Most of all, to see most of the 'publicly known' long range missile types and vehicles. Even the different types of aircraft display and drone/ drone launch vehicles. But of course, what I was hoping for most, was to get ideas and inspiration for additional mods and missiles. -

Wondering how CH is doing.... haven't seen any post of him lately.. -
I've tried to repair but didn't help, and I don't have any other mods than CH and Admirals mods. I'm glad to hear it's not just on my end. Thanks !

Afterburner test DLSS on.trk Just to point out what it looks like on my end. I have tested it with DLSS on and off, but not uploaded these because there was no difference. Aircraft used : F/A 18C - F-16C - F-15E - F15C. Afterburner TEST.miz

Hi Raven, as i watched the vid , it STILL looks like a nice rounded cone, if u ask me. Not the whimpering flagged fireball i see on the DCS jet exhausts. Have a closer look when you fly at night or dawn when you see an AI aircraft taking off before you...... ridiculous it looks.
-
HI, i am wondering why the afterburner, when taking off, looks like a huge fireball ? Is this a setting or something else... It looks more like the rear end is on fire if u ask me. Kind regards, RWC.

Posted January 2 RE-POSTING REQUEST : ACTIVE / INACTIVE CAT OPTION for the SC Posted September 16, 2022 (edited) Hi developers, Is there any way to have a option to select which CAT's can be active and inactive on the SC ? So far when planes are parked on the CAT area (which we usually see on any of the present photo's), planes STILL try to take of from them and crash into the parked planes. Usually the active/used planes are parked on the deck and CAT's, and have one or two CAT's active/in use for landing and takeoff. See it as what runway is active/inactive on a airport depending on the wind direction. The supercarrier needs this option to activate / deactivate CAT's in use ! Thanks for reading this. Kind regards, RWC. Edited September 16, 2022 by RWC

Hi LG - team, I am flying mission 3 of the DCS: F/A-18C Inherent Resolve Campaign, where one takes off at low altitude, following the 2 Tornado's. I have just passed WP 3, and we are flying low over the lake... So i'm flying at low altitude, at 500 ft 370 mph, and sudden static/dynamic ships start popping up less then 0.2 mile ahead and aside of me, growing rapidly to its original size. Growing way too fast in to size than should be possible at these speeds ! Is this normal ? Kind regards, RWC

Hi friends, Thanks to Rudell i found the older version i needed, and its working, without all the other mods. https://onedrive.live.com/?redeem=aHR0cHM6Ly8xZHJ2Lm1zL2YvYy9iYThkNDBkODdkYjk5YzJlL0VyWE9IeWdla1BoT2lsVEdsY0R6dE5ZQmdKNi1Ra2JBSEZ6WHNFZVRHLVhBVnc_ZT1Vdk00ZUQ&cid=BA8D40D87DB99C2E&id=BA8D40D87DB99C2E!s9bc21b9347b349c7ad0437f734af444b&parId=BA8D40D87DB99C2E!s281fceb5901e4ef88a54c695c0f3b4d6&o=OneUp Thanks Rudell !!!!

Hi friends, i am looking for this mod too, and the mod above is not it. There is a pack where there are ONLY the helo's are inside and not all the other mods (some outdated) are in as well.
-
Cheers Grim for the info. I am still using most of the packed mods separately already, which i find easier to control if any issues occur. If there is any update or issue from either of the packed mods, i can overwrite them in the stand-alone folder. There is no telling if Damien keeps track on updates on any of these mods, and will have to keep updating this package every single time. So it's quite illogical to have them all in one folder really. Its like a desktop pc, if one component fails, one can just take out the part that fails, instead of replacing the whole desktop pc. Catch my drift ?
