  1. Hi DCS- Team, is it possible to have the 'Start up from Parking hot' with wheel chocks ? When loaded the planes thrust goes way high up and immediatly starts rolling whithout having the chance for the pilot toset things up in the cockpit. Kind regards, RWC

  4. Hello DCS Crew, I have a serious issue regarding the takeoff of the AI aircraft. For this issue i have used a default qualifying training mission called carrier takefoff lesson. The planes drop in the water right after takeoff ! I have included a Trackfile and both logfiles , one after the repair and one after loading the mission. I have updated to the latest version and tried the repair option to see if the issue was fixed, but it was not. Also it seems some errors in the logfile regarding the catapult steam lua and some issues regarding the weapons and soundfiles. I have no idea if the issue is caused by the Supercarrier or by the vanilla F/A-18. Please have a look Kind regards, RWC. Carrier failed takeoff.trk dcs after repair.log dcs.log

  6. Hei Developers and friends, A great improvement would be adding the flexing wingtips , which almost don't move in the F/A-18 Hornet in DCS. Another great effect would be the windforces downpressure in flight. This can be seen when pulling higher G's in a turn or climb when looking out over the wings, where you will see a slight downwards sink in combination with the flexing of the wingtip in flight about every few seconds. This will increase the ' real feel ' effect enormously Have a look in this video, where regurarly the camera is looking over the wings while flying and experiance the effects of windforces on the Hornet. Enjoy the video friends and hope these effects WILL be added in the future by the creators ... RWC

  11. Hi guys, i don't know if i am the only one still having issues with locking a moving target. In v2.6 the moving target got auto locked, and all i had to do was designate it and get the cross in between the vertical lines. But this is not the case anymore and the target indicator just remains in the point i locked it, and the target just drives on. Is this because the Flir pod has been replaced by the 228, or is this a bug? Why has this been changed in 2.7 when now i got used to locking the moving targets this way ? Most of the video's on how to use it are from versions before 2.7....... where it worked ! This is not a complaint, but exchanging and collecting more information and/or updated video somewhere i can learn from. I just need some help to know if the 28 Flir has become obsolete or outdated. Wags already made some great video's on the new 228 Pod, but only on stationary targets input please .... Kind regards, RWC.

    just wanted to post that i love the Raven One campaign so far. The experiance comes somuch to life being on a aircraft carrier in this campaign. With all of its dynamic features and precise background sounds makes this a very intimate experiance. I have mentioned this aswell in a post in the 'wish list' section to the DCS developers.

    Nomatter the flaws or bugs ..... THIS campaign is off the hook !

  16. Hello DCS-Crew, First of all i would like to say i love this sim, and i know it is hard to provide all the requests. Here are a few things i would love to see added : 1- The new weather presets are awsome, but it would be nice if we could have either more rain/snow presets added and/or have the option to add it to the presets ourselfs. 2- Over the years there came out several mods which could add vehicles and carts to the flightdeck in the ME. THIS would be a great addition to the carriers to add instead of just crew. Moving (tow-)vehicles/carts, ect. 3- If the aim is to create a most realistc experiance while on the carrier deck, i think a basic is the background sounds and calls. If one checks on a video of the real-life Carrier, you hear alot is going on. It came to me while flying the RAVEN One Campaign where he used this. It made me feel more part of the real-life deal. 4- Deck crew to Pilot (hand-) signals from specific deckcrew. Each colour has it's task. It would be nice if each coloured jacked had it's own signals like when you run up to the CAT. But actually would be nice to have them from 'dark n cold state' to 'cleared to taxi...' Remember i have nothing but gratitude and respect for all of you and we love ya..... all of us !! Kind regards, RWC

  17. I have the Supercarrier. On all the other CVN carriers there are the launch groups/personel in place on the catapults, except for the Stennis . Why is that and is that only with me or am i doing something wrong ? Input plz Kind regards, RWC
  18. Hi Fortunate, a option might be to control/command the formation you are flying...... the wingman returns to the default formation. Try open formation ... RWC

Hi friends, For those of you who fly older missions/campaigns created before DCS 2.7, where there is the need of the US Navy Equipment mod installed.Just wanted to let you all know that after running several tests, this is the mod causing DCS 2.7 to crash and missions/campaigns to fail. It is not compatable with the SuperCarrier either, since SC uses it's own deck crew. One can fly the older campaigns by adding the US Navy Equipment mod in your saved games/tech folder, and then remove all the deck crew and vehicles ,with the mission editor, and save. After that remove the US Navy Equipment mod from its location again. Kind regards, RWC11

  21. Hello friends, i am pleased to inform that the problem has been solved by not installing any of the old mods in to DCS 2.7 , which have now become obsolete and incompatable. Greetings from RWC11
