  4. Bought it, looks great, but still have to try it out better; hope there will be more ground surface objects like villages and roads to come. Mods with lamas, sheep, condors and locals with ponchos LoL.
  5. What makes DCS and ww2 more interesting than IL2 are the ships, ground objects, especially drive-able stuff, the maps and more. And helicopters as side line.. Sorry you're bothered by my simplifying wishes ... LoL. Indeed, out of frustration i take the Mosquito among others out for a spin in IL2 once in a while. And yep, especially with it's ww1 stuff you could do with a lot less hardware. IMO for DCS (as gaming fun) the mousing affairs are something i feel idiotic in the midst of action. Must be my personal taste. I might miss that game mode now dismissed in the recent versions of DCS since i started with it. BTW made quite a few missions (and skins) with IL2, mostly as historic as possible. Tried to make a few for DCS as well, only half finished so far alas. Here's an unfinished attempt-test for some not happened mission in regards of Operation Cerberus by the Nazis with a Mosquito.   6. Payload means load of the weapon (setup, like for bombs, rockets, paratroopers etc). finally got the arming for bombs in Streamdeck. You'll have to open the bomb safety panel first, then set fuses etc as above, but first set up the keyboard keys right on the controller page for all those mousing actions, and finally the joystick dropping bombs button (in Stick). I still have some engine management setup wrong in my warthog throttle for the Mosquito, keeps losing power and hits the drink (or ground) after air-start. Time to get away from DCS for a while now.

So i have got a streamdeck 2 button press sequence setup working for the mosquito ... 1st is the bomb doors toggle, 2nd for the complex selector (Camera or Bombs) and fuse arming etc. But i cannot find the sector for the bomb type payload, 250lb or 500lb (bomb lcompartment) yet ... I found a lot in ChazFlyz manual. Tips? 2nd button setup:

  9. Went a little further in setting up the Mosquito's button setup with Streamdeck. Mousing around with the yellow + on various switches like bomb functions for doors, bomb station, flaps, gear lever, Bombs to Camera lever, magneto switches, and many more just seem to have a one way - one time activity, and the switch etc wont react again to the mousing + . Is that a bug?

  12. General remark: I am more into WW2 planes, and also a tourist; not too much into one but like to switch planes a lot. So i got into programming Macro's for Streamdeck. The latter is not capable yet of sequences involving the win keys, f.i pressing Multiple action Hotkeys Lwin+Home with one button would not work alas, or Lwin+Lalt+1 for Rearming. Without a win key Streamdeck works fine. Been extensively communicating with Elgato Support, and they might come up with a fix. I got a Razer tartarus v2 gamepad added now that works fine with the win keys, alas misses the programming graphics displays of the Streamdeck. Has also only 32 buttons.

  17. Quite used to it now, if only the win keys would work it's a perfect asset for DCS. That little Razer thing is in fact better and easier, but it hasn't got the programmable button displays.
  18. ADDED 3 - Just got another mail from elgato tech support, they're still working on it, and sent them extensive reports on the not working wth win keys, when setup in streamdeck. Meanwhile i got a second hand Razer Tartarus v2 ganmepad ... that works fine with the win keys in multi action key setups.
  19. I think you should always set a pagefile on the C drive of i think minimum of 200 or 200O MB as you have a separate pagefile drive (partition) like i have of 64000 MB.
  20. I bought my win 10 and 11 LTSC keys from Kinguin or CJS keys, all worked OK. Get win 10 again? Prices around 10 $.
  21. Now this beats me, i just had advice from Streamdeck Elgato support to turn ON power management windows USB hubs (device manager). But that seems to always mess up my Joysick ID numbering, especially after plugging USB hardware in and out.   22. Found them, some in static/structures and static/ Ground Vehicles. GREAT STUFF! My confusion was that there's no fortress as was mentioned in the old independent assetpack mod's instructions readme.
  23. Here is an example of your mod working in OvGME: Massun92-Lights and Humans v1.0 OvGME.zip PS i moved my savedgames/DCS.openbeta folder on an other drive via windows.
  24. Foldering these ever so great Massun92 mods with OvGME. Humans show up OK in the ME and Installed Module Manage page. And the same foldering for the Assetpack wont ... really beats me.
