  2. Rudel enlightened me, they work as intended, just light effects without hardware.
  3. I downloaded the 1.0 lights and personnel mod too. The instructions in the readme does not work, f.i. the "fortress" selection under "statiic" is not present in the ME as being available. I guess the entry.lua included below should be altered maybe, but me dumbo dunno how: You'll find f.i. M92_Lights_12mHangarFront) under structures, but there's no picture (textures?) showing up in the ME.   4. just did a full check, it's the same. must dive deeper in how to install especially the lights.
  5. https://massun92.gumroad.com/l/VTreS downloaded, installed according readme, but i had to create a folder first in saved games -mods - tech, to get it displayed in the installed modules game page. As per instructions i cant find the content in the ME (according the read me). There's no statics - fortress category with the Syria map and Normandy at least. Guess it must be that something has changed since the latest update of DCS. I emailed Massun92, eagerly awaiting. I also experience problems with Combined Arms and player vehicles disappearing, could be my DCS files are not alright. Thanks for the tip anyway ..
  6. Hi draconus, your earlier solution, only i miss for the vehicles, player and automated ai, that don't have at least head lights like in IL2 ...

  8. Well i just tried it, but it seems after weapon release you have to reconfigure it all, weapon selection, and at least the main bomb switch needs reactivation it seems.
  9. Thanks, i now got this setup, quite difficult system in the midst of action, and seems complicated unless you could combine button presses. Tried it out but before you have the proper loadout ready it's usually far too late to hit anything. This needs an overhaul, as do the gear functions. Streamdeck programming stuff?
  10. I got the i-16 setup with payload in the ME. but how do you fire them? Some Russian error message? My current weapon setup for Rocket/Bomb Selector buttons do nothing but scroll through 8 (or more) various setups. Where's the drop or fire switch?

  12. THIS WORKS, solution from McShetty's post elsewhere: G (Landing gear next state) will cycle through the 4 settings which is a combination of 2 other settings: Direction and lock. They can be done individually if you chose. To raise: 1. Press G. It will say, "gear up ready". Direction = up, unlocked. 2. Hold LCtl+G (Landing gear handle, Up) until the handle stops. 42 turns so a long time. 3. Press G, It will say, "gear up fin". Direction = up, unlocked. This stage does seem to do anything since there's no up and locked. To lower: 1. Press G, It will say, "gear down ready". Direction = down, unlocked. 2. Hold LShift+g (Landing gear handle, Down) until the handle stops. 3. Press G, It will say, "gear down fin". Direction = down, locked. For the Warthog Throttle some buttons that function well when yo select (prepare) the 'ready' G-press function: Setup some buttons on my throttle for G, Up, and Down. Also it moves up/down the same but noticeably the more it comes up the slower it goes so the speed is not linear. Also that curved tube across the edge of the cockpit is the gear indicator. (Seems like the speed of the i-16 has influence on the speed of the gear up down function.)
  13. Hi All. Just download the i-16 trial, for the second time now. I like it in IL2 Great battles. I am probably going to give it up definitely with it for DCS; main reason again is i cannot get around getting the gear up and down. A lot of the present keyboard functions don't seem to work neither, like E for war emergency engine power. Also cannot figure out how to change payload to rockets. This module seems still quite unfinished business.

  16. was trying to make a night mission for the Syria Map, Damascus, with a vehicle as player. Noticed there were some working lamp-light poles on the airfield. Are there none for the city streets available? Would be nice if you could use those working lampposts elsewhere too.

  20. Yep, and i made a special balloon skin (texture mod) once for IL2, to be shot with a special ecological I-16/24

  23. 500GB should be enough for one windows installation, but not when you install other (large) programs there. as well. Your DDR memory size may have a large influence too, and the pagefile size location and size (DDR memory size is important for that). BTW I always keep my windows on a separate Boot-C partition, and install programs (if possible) on a separate drive or partition called PRG. This so i can use Acronis to back up my working windows for a reinstall when windows update screws my windows up once again.
  24. Nope, in the mission editor when loading an existing mission. In F10 it's easy enough ... but i can find it via F10, memorizing it's location. But C in the ME does not seem to work. Bug?
