Backlight DCS Bios I like to bump this topic, as i just finished making my own backlightcapable FA18c Panels I cant find the (green) backlight for the panels, am i missing something? DCS Bios seems to have all the lighting switches/knobs but the function of actually turning on/off the green backlight doesnt seem to be available. How do you Guys managed it? Cheers Evilfisher

Ok Ok Guys no need to sharpen your Pitchfork. And no need for snappy comments. It was a well intended suggestion putting the HSI on the ampcd. And of course you can handle your screens the way you want. I wouldnt had expected such a negative response here on the DCS forums. Cheers Evilfisher

The Adversory(Warning messages) page is either on the left ddi or when the left ddi is powered off on the ampcd, in any case you are not to decide where the HSI should be, its the bottom ampcd! the only choice you have if you want your fcs/hud or adi page left or right -hsi on the ddis are a no go. Hi Fakum I think anyway that the ampcd is the only right display for the HSI as you have the hdg and crs select right in front of you for the ease of navigation purposes Specially when doing case 1 recovery patterns as it shows the deviation from the course line or in your case the boat indicated whit the C in the bottom right corner of the hsi, wich is also not displayed i the upper DDI`s you are correct that it is a bug and i recall seeing it working before the last 2 updates Cheers Evilfisher

Yesterday after the update i saw ingame in the Hornet Pit that the lights of the gear lever while moving has been enabled. Do i just need to update/refresh and the code will be implemented or do i need to download a new version of dcs bios? Cheers Evilfisher

I would appreciate if the HARM would be on the priority list. I thought anyway that the Hornet is used in 90% for CAS/SEAD and the rest is CAP. We have alot of Air Combat fighters in DCS but only the Su25 is a really SEAD Capable plane, since Years. I think its time to change that now! Cheers Evilfisher

Dear Community I am building a FA18 Simpit. I try to be as most accurate as i can, but it wont be a 100% perfect replica. As i am trying to build the cockpit sections in modules each with one arduino connected via DCS Bios i will progress module per module or panel per panle. Most parts are 3D Printed and i like to share some of my works So here i start with my First Module The AOA Indicator I am willing to share my .stl files pleasse PM me if you want a copy

Good morning Pilots A general Question, as i have decided to make now a simpit instead of using helios and i need to export various things like RWR, Fuel Panel and HSi must i then go to the corresponding init.lua and add the following line with the corresponding text like ("F18_AMPCD") ?: dofile(LockOn_Options.common_script_path.."ViewportHandling.lua") try_find_assigned_viewport("F18_AMPCD") Would it then just be ("IFFEI") ("RWR") ("HSI") ? or ar the names different? Just wondering what you guys are using as lcd for the UFC in the Hornet. I think i will use some 128*32 oled i2c displays, just a bummer that i need 3 arduino to let them run simultanous. Is the Hornet DCS Bios now official or is it still a "workaround" ? Cheers Evilfisher
