Thank you for making those files available As i am fairly new to Photoshopping and skinning, i guess i cannot just drag those files into the skin folder, where must i make the "link" to tie the fresh painted nozzles to the harrier? Cheers Fishy

Thank you very much for your reply, problem is i dont get it. You are refering to : The push buttons themselves are made from white styrene plastic, around .3" thick. The plastic is first painted and then engraved. Then the whole thing is flipped upside down and hollowed out with the mill. I do this to ensure good light penetration to the underside of the engraved button top. Each push button has a clear cube of acrylic placed inside it to act as the bottom of the button so it will make contact with the tactile switch post. I could have used a solid acrylic button instead of all this hollowing out business and then adding some acrylic cube to it... bit I like the feel of styrene buttons. Acrylic buttons just feel to hard. Sorry maybe its because english isnt my native language but the only thing i can made out of it is: "The push buttons themselves are made from white styrene plastic, around .3 thick" that gives me no indicator if its a block styrene that you cut out or if its molded etc... Hi Guys I did yesterday the DCS update and then purchased voiceattack/vaicom and installed it. So its my first and i have no experience with this software whatsoever. First its super immersive and amazing it almost has a trackir factor from the your never going back point of view and even if i am a native german speaking person it recognices almost every word i say. I made some test in this rinse and repeat manner, 1 tweak something in the control panel of vaicom 2 launch dcs 3 instant action Hornet carrier take off. 4 Revert/keep the changes. I always was able to communicate with the atc or tell my wingmen to call it a day and rtb so that works just fine. Later in Multiplayer, startup from Parking area: able to communicate with the atc for take off and flew towards the carrier carrier inbound or nearest carrier inbound didnt work while approaching but instead anapa who was the nearest tower apart from the stennis. Tried to approach the tanker Not able to call for tanker or approaching for refuel, and then suddenly the keybutton for the comms not working anymore menu not visible by keystroke Tried the rinse and repeat with the instant action areal refueling, the same picture, not able to communicate with texaco on 251mhz only way to speak to the ai was then to press Ralt or rshift and the communicationsmenu button. Seems to be broken as soon as a tanker is involved. This is just my feedback as i really would like to say its a must have like TrackIR But this wasnt the case for me yesterday as i wasnt able to contact the tanker with keyboard or vaicom.(as i figured out later only was able to communicate via some form of combination of lshift lalt and the commenu button, but the communication menu never was visible ( i didnt checked the hide menu box) But like i statet i have no experience with this software. Now im building my FA 18C cockpit and surprisingly there is almost no Trustmaster mfd to buy around here, Everywhere i look its out of stock or way to steep as i would need 3 of them. So arduino+ 3D Printing and hoping that i am able to make my own mfd's. Cheers Evilfisher

Its really awesome how you guys are doing those skins:) since the lack of tutorials that arent 5 years old and im sure the tools are more up to date now and the process itself would maybe have changed since the last couples of DCS World iterations, id like to ask if someone could capture his workflow for making a skin from zero to finnish? Thank you Dart for the quick reply, in my case it was really easier to just copy the Ovgme ready files and drag them over to the right folder. launched dcs enabled it under the special options and it seems to work. Just waiting for the license to test the server. One question that crossed my mind while reading the readme file: Wich dll and what vcredist? shall i use? there is no such file in the package. Does it work on the openbeta`? I am struggeling with the server side installation: im unable to see it in the DCS special menu nor the .log file has any entries of Lotatc,l as my Dedicated server is part of a Active Directory it searches for the DCS folder but it seems like it wants to install it on the Home Drive. Any pointers? or is it the time anyway to jump from openbeta to the stable? Greetings Evilfisher

Hey Tango, had the same sh.... last week, could only join a few servers, then soon as i hit the fly button it was stuck. i solved it like this: make a copy or backup of your saved games Dcs.opbenbeta folder, then delete de saved games\Dcs.obenbeta content. start dcs join multiplayer, if it works, quit the game and copy the input/joystick files back from your backup to the newly ceated content of saved games/dcs.openbeta... Hi to all Thank you very much, i figured it out and got it working. If you want to export the DDi and AMPC with the panels you need Helios, DCS will only export the Display content not the frames around it- thats what i thougt it would make. Do you plan to make a Harrier Helios Profile? 2.
