I looked at as many view type files I could find and I just don't get why we would have that static background image. There has to be something simple that we can change. Does anyone have any clue? What is telling it to do that. It may very well be a bug. Sometimes it gets stuck there even after you exit the mission.

I actually put an OpenBeta Updater shortcut on my desktop. What is wrong with me? And I took an unscheduled day off. Stomach issues. ;)

Screw the house, car, kids, etc. You must protect the CPU, HOTAS, router, and anything flightsim at all costs! A hundred mile an hour tent on the roof may be the ticket.

Sometimes, when I hit it, the green thingy will go across a few times and I get super excited and then other times it blinks on and then closes. "Damn you Aqua Clean!!!!!"

Do it now because both builds are the same I believe. I can join multiplayer and join/host with either one. I copied my config, saved games, and skins over with no issues. I am sure once 1.5 is released we may have to be a little more reserved as to what we copy over in mass. Just my .02.

My guess is 2nd week of November for 1.5 and we will see another update to 1.2.16 beforehand. No matter, love the sim nonetheless and I enjoy flying in its current state.

Solved. Verizon dropped my bandwidth for some "maintenance." It was a server issue.

Anyone have any idea what would cause this? New install, no mods. Removed everything from the registry before reinstall. No MODS.

I finally have it working but the sound quality is just awful. I understand degradation and all that but side by side on the ramp is so bad we may not use it ever. What am I doing wrong?

You ask for thoughts so here are mine. One word, "Beta." You contradict yourself by criticizing the product than admitting its a beta. I paid almost $60 for ARMA III in Alpha. You have a lot of talent in your speaking and I appreciated the lack of ums and uhs. You picked shots that really showcased the Mig-15 and the segment with the Mig's cannon was great. I think you can be a top reviewer and I feel that you need to understand with this hobby, small companies have to charge full price for the Beta to maintain some kind of growth. Also keep in mind these guys take a hit with the awesome sales that DCS puts out. I know that they will see a sharp decline in sales after many have purchased on a sale. And: "Kind of pisses me the F*&k off," nice, especially on a public posting for a review. As soon as I heard this I was going to click out but I wanted to be fair. Perhaps your review could have expressed the beta points and moved to what is there right now and don't rate a beta. As far as price, free will brother. I will follow you but if you provide a flippant phrase such as what I stated above I wont and that is my free will. Keep the reviews coming, you are off to a good start.

This is going to be an amazing release. It would be great if the Hawk magically develops a tail hook mod in preparation. My dad and I have been getting into the Mig-21 and really learning how to fly her. We have no idea how to use it in combat other than turning things on. Just flying her and landing is a huge milestone for any Mig-21 pilot. If this Kitty is half as good we will have a remarkable add on.
