As horrific as the acting was in Flight of the Intruder, the flight shots were pretty good except for the awful pasted in shots.

The heat blur was assisted by a fuel dump for that shot. The fuel dump nozzle sits almost in the middle of the turkey feathers.

One needs to watch the extended DVD release and understand why the awesome movie Top Gun was filmed in the manner it was. After I watch the 10 plus hours of the Top Gun Movie Documentary I fully understand how and why the movie was made. I watched it just two days ago and enjoyed every minute. And remember, "SHE IS A CIVILIAN SO YOU DO NOT SALUTE HER!"

I get it. I state that now but I probably would as I have bought every other module and only fly my favs. Addicted the Mig-21 like crack right now. Now that I can land and learned how to release the chute, WOW! I agree with you on balloons. Not because they are boring but the sheer adrenaline rush and heart palpitations would be too much for me to handle. I would have to fly the DCS F/A-18C just to get bored again.

What are you, some kind of headmaster? :) Of course I am joshing you! I did not know this was modeled after a particular Ka-50. I know they were limited in production. Such a beautiful aircraft. I do remember the discussion back in 2010 about sling loads. There are mods out there to add certain weapons. I can carry AGM-114s on mine but they do not work very well. Take care!

I renamed my DCS folder in Saved Games. Uninstalled, DCS and deleted all registry entries. Reinstalled everything. Cross over my original DCS Saved Games folder. Everything works.

CCD - monochrome is higher quality than a CCD color, in real life. In the sim...meh.

It didn't work. Funny how it happened after the C-101 update. It has to be something specific to the user and not DCS because there would be more with the issue.

This should get everyone primed for DCSW2.

Still happens. Once one joins a Mig-21, any joining after won't stall your server, but that first join is a killer. If one exits and rejoins it will stall again.

Hi Pilots, I have seen this issue here and there and I can't make sense of it. I have FC3 installed and I can fly all the aircraft except the Su-27. I have repaired, uninstalled, reinstalled, and removed all the registry entries and started over. Does anyone know why this is happening? It has got me stumped. Thanks in advance. Scooter

So it was always early 2015 to begin with. No matter, I am getting it anyway as soon as it comes out. If it were me, which it is not me, but if it were, in this situation, which is not, but...IF it was me, which again it is not me but if it were in a similar situation not unlike this one but again almost the same which it is not, but if it were and it were me, I would just make the announcement date to 1st Quarter 2015, or early 2015 but that is me which it is not.
