Normandy installed OK and key activated. Error message with WWII armour missing when trying to fly. Have tried the command with .\ and without .\ Is it a separate module, or must I reinstall? Is it possible to uninstall just the Normandy module? Will I be down to 8 activation?

Shall this module be detected and install through normal manager? Does not show up. Normandy will not run.

Check youtube for how to install it. (redist.exe) Quick download Microsoft I had the same problem

Installed and key accepted - but still no cigar. WWII armour missing. Hope it will install sometime in the future without messing around... Maybe I will fly tomorrow?

No luck with CMD solution in BIN. It helped first time I tried (but was missing some runtime files) Now it does not work after 3 download. aircraft and nevada installed ok. That stuff in the link is way off my competence. Working and downloading for 12 hours. Fed up - want my money back. Ticket filed. Asked for money back. No hard feeling - maybe in a distant future World 2.0 will go beta. UPDATE! IT STARTED TO DOWNLOAD FOR NO REASONS! FINGERS CROSSED!

Boy - this has been a long wasted night. Uninstall and reinstall with hours of download. Is it wise to fly on 1.5 while installing? Or watch TV?

After install N44 - World 2 did not start. Error messages of missing files. Have uninstalled World 2. And started download again. Guess it will install it all as updates. But what about Nevada test range? Must it be installed again after complete reinstall? :pain:

Went outside (with my beagle) while downloading. In the clear blue sky a T-6 Texan did a beautiful slow Cuban 8 over my house. What a sound! Must be a good sign. A kind of welcome home to 44 - my Mustang

Go high. (4000`or more). Not on an approach. Practice: Drop speed to approx 150. Select flaps in steps down to full flap. Gear down. Keep speed max 150. Trim and adjust throttle for descent -200 - 500 ft/min. Now you are on the reverse side of envelope. Adjust speed with pitch up/down 120-140 Adjust rate of descent with throttle - less than -500 ft/min. Off course this will interact with each other, but try to remember the sequence. Trim pitch to stabilize. Should be almost able to fly hands off. Take your time. Adjust: Better late than early Better less than much. This is the setup for approach. Align. Turn on your gyroscope sight. This will help you calculate direction. I usually drift slightly left. I aim for right side of runway. (I keep rudder trim at 0) Touchdown. Keep speed at 120 or slightly less. Descend rate at -200. The ground effect will help you close to ground. Do not try 3 point landing. You have plenty of runway. No need to touchdown at threshold. Fly it in with tail low. Do not stall it at flare as correct procedure suggests. It is hard to calculate height in a sim. You will bounce up and stall= crash. Flight it in to kiss the runway. It take a lot of runway, but you got plenty of it. Tail low. Speed slightly under 120 Descend rate at touchdown max -200 ft/min Now you have a kisser. Do not pull back hard on stick at touchdown to get the tail wheel down. The bounce from landing gear will send you up for a second landing. (Watch model tail draggers land 5 times and nose over with this error). Pull back slow and steady. Landing correction mantra: Better late than early. Better less than much.

As a test - I tried to reinstall Huey. It ends with a message that I need a new installer program for UH-1H. I have searched for this, but ends up with a thread of a ton of updates. None seems to fit. I have tried some - they all stop with a message that the world is already installed. Boy - Really got some bad flashbacks of long weekends just trying to make beta torrent files of DCS aircraft to work....

Been away for a while- but the F-5 is a must buy for me. Checked my ancient DCS world, and there was a massive update. All my aircraft did not show up in the icons. They are marked "Buy now". I have also done some cleanup on my PC. Checked and only the A-10C works. Searched my mail and found my Fighting Collections and Eagle Dynamics purchases with serial numbers. If I need a password, I need to resest Black Shark A-10C Mustang UH -1B A strategic command simulation (Do not remember correct name while typing) Is it a way to put them into the DCS World? I can also use Steam if this the best option. Thanks! :pilotfly:
