Its going to take me many months just to get used to my HOTAS (X52Pro, untill I can afford the TMWH) lol. So no rush. Would be nice if fixing the wingman was a priority so I can fly with him instead of him getting lost. But thats no big issue as I still learning just to fly my own aircraft :megalol::megalol::lol:

oh yes from the editor. Just watch out for the known bug that happens sometimes when set to "takeoff from parking" sometimes you will still end up in the air when the mission starts, just edit it again with a diffrent parking position untill it starts on the ground.:lol:

Same here and Ive updated DirectX 9.0C from the link above. I get all sounds but not GROUND ATC JTAC or WINGMAN. Only get text. Not sure what else to do lol.

Same here I would pay $100 for a sim of this quality. As with most things in life you get what you paid for and $59.99 is more than reasonable for what you get. A top notch A-10C and largley overhauled sim to run it in. Just save a few dollers a week untill the final retail build comes out and you wont even notice you spent it hehe.

Yes pre order ($59.99) and you get beta. Works fine on my old PC with no show stopping bugs only minor ones that are mostly known about already. Flying round Nevada is just awsome!. Looking forward to the TM Hotas though still a little bit to save before I can order it heh.:joystick::joystick::joystick::joystick:

:thumbup:Most wonderfull sim Ive ever purchased in my whole 10 years of flight simming. I have never flown an A-10 but I can honestly say it feels right. It feels like I would expect from a company like DCS. The release they gave us could pass as final retail from any other company (though im not sure if there is anyone who can do what these guys have done) its that good. Hats off to DCS and the team.:)

Im so confused the manual says to use TMS FORWARD LONG to change SOI but there is no button called that. I did it once but dont know what button I pressed. Any help please. The manual is confusing. Thanks andy

well im running on a 3 core Athlon at 2Ghz (yes 2! i really need to upgrade lol) with 2G ram and a GT9500 Gefore. Runs here at 18 to 20 FPS, even in a mission although ive not flown yet just going to practice untill the weekend then learn to fly hehe. Your PC will run it just fine.

Just got mine up and running and its very stable and same FPS as the KA-50. There are no words to describe this aircraft and its systems. This is nothing like it thats come before IMHO. I have to work tommorow and I know its going to be the longest day of my life waiting to get home and try this out properly. I got Track IR the other day and now cant live without it and it the A-10 it just shines.:lol: If you like the KA-50 you will love this sim!. Thanks DCS :smilewink::smilewink::smilewink::smilewink:

tried bit torrent and it said 2 weeks 3 days to complete. Got setup files 2 and 3 downloading now at 400K so thats much better I just cant start setup 1 lol:(

13H to Download!? 13 hours to download from the main site. Or FTP but I dont know what to do with it. Is there a faster way of getting the files? All the files will take around 2 days to download at this rate -(

ok I will try the Saitek ones. Ps just did my first flight in the Ka-50 with new track IR. It has to be the most strange and wonderfull sensation ive had in a flight sim.

:music_whistling: Need a good set of rudder pedals that are going to last. Ive been slowly collecting flight sims over the years and think its time to get in more depth. Ive go my eye on the Warthog Hotas thats coming in october (mid october acording to Flightstore www.flightstore.co.uk ) though. Doing overtime at work and putting the extra pennies into my set up. Flightstore. I already have Track IR 5 and a PC thats able to run FSX/KA50 (im guessing if I can run the KA-50 then there should be no problem with the A-10 when it comes. Thanks in advace

Been flying on and off since the BS each time I come back to it I learn something new and get a bit smoother everytime. I can suggest you dont focus on combat untill you can fly point to point in diffrent modes. Adding combat to the mix will make it harder to focus on flying.

Yea its seems like the blackshark has been forgotten. I guess the devs are all busy on the A-10 but the AI are very bad right now. If you set the AI to Good or above in the editor they seem to do a little better but still cannot fly to a DL point or hold position, they just carry on flying on their own and will not rejoin formation.

OOO. Look forward to that. Although can you turn off the tracking computer and use the "Force"?.

Im reminded of a post on the Avsim forum a very long time ago. A guy asked a question that no one could answer and the post grew to hunderds of pages of random posts.

Dont forget the VRS F/A 18. Although you cant blow stuff up you can set up SAM sites that you can kill/be killed by. I Fly DCS Ka50 and the F/A-18 only untill the Warthog comes. Nothing else comes close.
