Had ATI card before. It was a great card but I like Nvidia's setup better. Just personal preference.
-
Well sweet that answered that question. I have 2 9800 GTs. And I was leaning towards getting a EVGA GTX 580. The only problem was I wasnt sure how one card would perform instead of 2 but I think once I get my tax return and convince the wifey I will be getting a new graphic card and possible a new HOTAS!!!!

Why?? Your in a Hawg let them know your guns bigger!!!!

If I dont have the FPS numbers up than I honestly cant distiguish unless its really low and becomes a slide show. Otherwise as long as its moving and playing good i'm happy.
-
I normally just pause the TIR and move the amera around until i can see the raios and then make my adjustments and then unpause the TIR. Also radios are easy to see when the throttles are FWD.

Did someone say hot babes?????:cheer3nc:

I get about 35 to 40 FPS with Vsync on. Im assuming that with the final build it will be better. I definatly saw a big improvement with BETA 4.
-
I thought that Vsync off would cause bad graphics? So basicly if i turn Vync off i will get better FPS. Now do I turn it off in the config file or just turn it off thru my driver software?

Anyway to "unlock" the mouse from view?

Cool thanks man! -
OK so I am wondering if there is anyway to make it so when you turn you head the mouse cursor doesn't move with your head movement. I'm using a trackir setup, Every time I move my head the mouse cursor moves its getting annoying trying to select switches when your head moves a bit. I know you can pause the TrackIR but I was just wondering if there was a way to have the mouse cursor not move when you look around. Thanks for the help guys Jason

Try targeting with the TGP. Then mark that spot as a waypoint and the slave SPI to waypoint and bring your MAV up and boom should be on tgt ready to roll

CBU-87 "5-mil" CCIP: Invalid fuzing
Weaponz248 replied to kingneptune117's topic in Bugs and Problems
As for 1760 on A-10 It gives us the ability to talk to JDAM and WCMDs. With the 152 series fuze we can also change setting from the pit. The 139 keeps coming up. The FMU-139 is a mechanical fuze and nothing more and drive is hooked up to it from the FZU-48 which when open allows the drive to rotate which than turns the 139 and then arms and BOOM. The FZu-39 in nothing more than a sensor that when it gets to X feet says time to open boys. I could spend hours on this stuff but without seeing it most won't grasp it. -

Yes I do believe so. Remember that HOF will go at that hieght where as a nose only will do a time feature which for example if set to 5 will activate 5 secs after the bomb is armed(released) from the jet. So in all honesty HOF will allow you to kinda set your area where as timer will give you more of the general spread but on a timed delay. I would say HOF is the best way to go but if you have to drop a CBU real quick like than NOSE only and you should be good. -

I was actually just reading up on that in the 34-1. Either way I think that applies to 87/97 more though than the WCMDs. Im still reading through but I thibk the pilot has the ability to change HOF on WCMDs. -

Hmmm well I understand that there are more than 1760 conections but in the A-10 its the only connection as far as bombs go that is electrical. So as for the CBU-87/97 goes what the load crew sets is what the HOF is but as far as the WCMDs go im 95% positive that you can adjust HOF thru the pit.(still researching) -

Weaponz248 replied to kingneptune117's topic in Bugs and Problems
Im still trying to work through his HOF thing. HOF is set by the load crew and there is no way to set it in flight. On the 103/105s yeah you can change it in flight because the bomb is connected to the A/C. but with the 87/97 the bomb is not connected to the A/C at all. So im thinking that when you set HOF in the pit your setting it to what the Load crew set it to. This is just a guess if anyone has documentation that says other wise im game to read it. But just looking at the theory here its impossible to select HOF with out the bomb being connected to the A/C -

Can you clarify what you mean in that statement? -
Right on!! I would love to see an F-18 in DCS!
-
Um ok. I said werent meant to be not couldn't be. Also the question was asked about the A-10 not the F-22. I understand the point of a bomb toss. but thats also why you have SEAD packages with agm-88s. An A-10 normally only toss BDU-33s. Other than that straight and lvl. JDAMs are made to be dropped from a high lvl flight. Now granted they can do all that tossing stuff but come on do you really see an A-10 trying this?
-
JDAM are meant to be dropped from a high altitude. You dont even have to be over the TGT just somewhere close. The higher you are the more time it has to steer.
