  1. This thread seriously questioning DCS epithet "simulation" and superior physics and flight dynamics.The main impression is that developers just won't answer ...:huh:
  2. You should really see the difference between realistic and your favorite settings for chat messages. Someone prefers excluded messages while somebody thinks that the game is more interesting when messages are visible.We must agree that the most realistic settings are somewhere in between. No one can tell me that it is realistic to kill the whole tank brigade while a couple of enemy fighters, a several dozen kilometers away, does not know anything about it?! Personally,i am satisfied with any settings but the differences in the understanding of "realistic way" will always exist.

  4. I went to spectators regulary when i heard WG asking what is going on and why hi see airfield view.:D.Later that night i saw on stat that both of us have crash in same time, even if i had 0 later in game...Strange...
  5. Is it possible to remove carrier respawn bug crashes from stats? WhiteG me We did not crash at all... I think i just went back to spectators when i saw virtual WG head in front of me...ty:)
  6. No, that's not solution of this problem! The most unrealistic part here is fact that large percent of direct missile(without number 120 in his name) hits give unrealistic results. The main impression in 2.0 is that you just cant kill players avionics, sometimes, even with whole payloads on your wings. Target can lose engines(first scripted failure), second is wings and later nose tip and from that moment we have hi speed wreck glider, with happy and healthy virtual pilot in it, fully capable to fire and guide his missile! What we see and feel on servers is that most players use this new "feature" very well... This problem was very well solved in 1.12 but since 2.0 is out , thing are, not the same but very similar to 1.01 About kill messages,in 1.12 we could see that in chat only when pilot is dead and you see F11 view... Now is more like "Vecko(su27) kill engines and one wing of XXpilo(XXplane)t but hi is still very alive and search Vecko on his radar "... Why is that so??? I dont know...

I also have one proposal for stats scoring,maybe someone will find this interesting... fighter kill striker- 1/2 points striker kill fighter- 2X points(or more) fighter kill choper- 0 points choper kill fighter- hmmmm, 10000 points??? It would be nice to see some extra points for r73/aim9 kills also...

  10. This thread,and Pirke's track files, really makes me wondering is flight model of ka-50 exact copy of original software previously developed for russian military pilots or is it just "heavily modified" to meet expectations of average sim lover...:noexpression:
  11. Can this be explained,maybe, by the fact that Ka-50 is much lighter aircraft and have coaxial rotors? I remember that video Frazer,exelent stuff ...DCS pilot???!!! WTF is that???!!!:D

  14. Before you asking something like this you should know that Pirke is military helicopter pilot...:smilewink: I'm pretty much sure it was not game mod...
  15. Fortunately, we have pilot stick movement animated in FC/DCS so you can easy determine is this problem related to your Joystick or something else...Wind, payload(but only for frogfoots) or maybe you "scrach" little bit reflector-truck every time on takeoff ... :)
  16. Good question but i think you wont find any video... In the other hand,one good reading of ME section in GUI manual will tell you everything. My advice for you is to start FC/DCS in window mod and ,on the other side of monitor, you can consult PDF GUI manual and try to create simple missions...

  24. Hehe, i tested all what can be tested in lomac 1.01/1.02/DCS/FC2...;) It is not graphics problem... Oh yes, and turning off AA is cheating... in some way... ;)
