Well I heard a couple years back an Airman murdered another Airman, not sure over what though. Think it had to do with domestic bullshit(screwing someones wife). I heard a Civilian walked himself into the HQ building sat down at the Secretary's desk and shot himself in the head. Not sure why. I also read about unsafe MX practices dealing with C-5's I believe? All about handling Depleted Uranium incorrectly. This is all unconfirmed stuff. One of the most uneventful and boring TDYs I have ever been on though! Are you doing sheet metal stuff?

Hey guys I was wondering what Arma 2 servers you all play on? I pretty much strictly play on the 7th Cav server. They use the Domination MOD(?)MAP(?). About %60 of the time people are playing to accomplish the objectyives which is nice. The other 40... well Ill just say most of the base is destroyed and people are flying C-130s into each other. Its EXTREMELY fun during the %60 though. :)

Hitman are you going to be at Warner Robins? If so be careful and try and keep a good attitude while you are there. Ive been TDY to Warner to take C-17's in for Depot and I have heard some crazy things happening at that base.

I know how you feel. But I pretty much only played Hardcore Search and Destroy. Sniping isn't has lucrative in this mode from my experience. One thing they MUST fix is the M203 spam at the beginning of a match. Nothing more bullshit then getting blown up 3 seconds into the match because some kid knows what pixel to aim at.

I can see myself at a midnight release for MW2. Watching the trailers does give you the impression it is going to be a lot more epic. But true... at the same time its going to be the same game. But that's okay for me. The formula they have will still work and I am sure there will be a number of improvements to it. One thing I am hoping they put in is the gore that World at War has. I'm sorry but if I hit you with a M203 round or point blank with a .50 cal.... I want it to look somewhat like it would irl. I'm not some blood seeking kid or anything. It just gives me a little more satisfaction and more "Output Reward" for my "Input".

I know Call of Duty games aren't really "Sims" but I wanted to know what your guys thoughts were on this ridiculousness of a special edition version. Now I am sure these are some shitty NVG's... but damn does this hit my "I wanna waste $150 and buy this crap" bone.

They are the only people in North America that I know of that have it. I really recommend getting this game if you have: 1. A decent gaming machine 2. TrackIR 3. A love for infantry combat Ive read a lot of crap about the flying in the game on other forums. People need to realize this is primarily an infantry game. But having flying vehicles in it makes it that much more immersive when your on the ground slugging it out. It's so AMAZING when something flys over. The sound is just spot on. You actually feel a little better knowing that you have something thats on your side flying above you. I could go on for days about the stupid details that make this game great for me... Anyways... im ranting. I'm a Black Shark lover, and I recommend this game to all of you guys! :D

This is the first year I have actually been able to attend a PAX event and I would be even more crazily excited if some Flight Sims were being represented. Definitely watch those videos. Also do the training missions more then once. I just stuck with training and trying to fly the thing before I even attempted to shoot something. You really do feel great once you can control the Helicopter and engage targets with ease.

As a former 17 Crew Chief I have to say how AMAZING this model is. I sat and stared at these pics for 5 minutes and I just can't get over how great it looks. The only thing missing is the REAR LAIRCM turret. But who cares... simply awesome looking. Also... Mississippi? Why does the Guard get the glory? No love for Active Duty? :)

I love this game as I have stated many times already. But does anyone else kind of giggle when your Wingman engages an enemy with his guns? Just the way he says "Guns! Guns!" is great to me. The first time he said it... I was like "wtf?" I had to read the captions to figure out what he was saying. I'm probably alone on this...

Depending how far I have to fly in the mission I am playing, I may or may not fly with Route Mode engaged. If its a long distance, I get all my weapons setup to the point to where all I have to do is select either the inboard or outboard pylons just before I get to the Initial point. That means I turn on the laser/AutoTurn to target button/Ground Moving TGT button/Master ARM on/Helmet mounted sight on. Once I fire all that up I turn off route mode/Retrim the bird to my liking and fly to the spot I want to start shooting from. Once approaching the spot, I start to slow way down almost to a point where I am hovering all by my self. I TRIM the helicopter closely to a hovering trim. I then turn on AutoHover. Look at the target area, activate the Shkval/select my weapon/lock a target shoot. I find its always best to trim the helicopter as close as possible to what ever setup you want the auto pilot to do. You might have to deactivate Automatic Turn to target every once in a while to help break up the fight between you and the Aircraft. And dont forget when you deactivate autohover, the ALT button is still selected on the Autopilot pannel. Hope some of this helps. I am by all means NO EXPERT. I love this game though.

Man I was just wondering the same thing. I would look at my wingmens blades and think... wtf his are all level with each other. Thanks for posting this. Even if it's been posted many many other times.

I always try and hit the ALT I need way before I reach the mountain, but if you are still low, try turning off Eng ANTI ICE/DUST Protection, it seems you can get more power out of them if they arent engaged. Just flip them back on once your are on the other side and in the decent. For that mission I just had my wingmen focus on taking out Bandits. If they say they can't, just keep telling them to shoot bandits. They'll figure it out sooner or later. I def dropped my rocket pods and made a straight line for home after I hit all the targets to lose some weight.

Greetings, I am on mission 12 of the Deployment campaign and I have completed the mission %100. However it will not let me advance to the next mission. Does anyone know a way to mess with the campaign files to where I can just skip to the next mission. I really don't feel like flying this whole mission over again. This is the second time this has happened to me. It happened to me on mission 11 also and I just replayed that mission over. EDIT: I am playing Black Shark

Well thanks for the information guys. After reading all the posts I think I am going to just stick with my single monitor and TrackIR for now. The only game I ever used multiple monitors with was Supreme Commander. This was from my Laptop streaming to my LCD TV. It all hooked up quite easily, but it sounds like it'll be a little over my head for BS.
