If you look at the clip with the girl in the red dress, you can see a good profile of the ejection sequence. The nose cone was already disintegrating (sp) when they punched out, but the A/C looks fairly level. I think that photo shows the start of the bounce after initial impact.

I have had all the pics and vids from the various angles and aftermath vids for awhile, but never posted them becasue of the reactions that force described. Check some of your more ogrish sites to find those links or pm me if you can't find them. I can't believe how many times I have done the EXACT manuever with the same results in LOMAC, to bad this pilot could not have hit a reset botton. :( There is one video that shows the pilot getting up from the grass only to see what he has just caused, someone runs by him and pats him on the shoulder as if to say "glad you're ok". I can't imagine what they felt like. Does anyone have links to the balckbox recorder?

In regards to Su-33 you can engage speed and alt hold but NOT WHILE CONNECTED TO BASKET. If you are not so steady with controls you can engage these prior to connection and it will make things a bit easier. 1. Set alt hold 5m below tankers displayed alt. 2. Closure of 1-2kph is good, but you must reduce to .1-.3 within .5m or so to the basket. Set speed hold within last .2-.3m from connection. If the timing is correct you will get a full tank before you get an "overshoot" warning, and you will only have to worry about the roll indicator. If you do not have your speed right when connection occurs, you must retract nozzle, disengage and correct speed hold, then reconect starting from step 2.

Currently I think copyright lawyers have bigger fish to fry than machinema (sp) makers. I think it would do eveyone some good publicity but the plaintiff if someone was to sue for this stuff. ps. I thought I had posted a thread about the audio issue, but I can't find it??? If you use the screenshot method you do not need to wait for the audio to render. I know GURU has major issues with recording screenshots for some reason, but I guess you can way out which is a bigger pain in the ass for you. Wait for the audio, or convert screenshots back to AVI form. From my experience to do what Chizh has suggested and hit esc during the audio rendering of an AVI file will cause the track to be corrupt and unplayable. Your render time sounds correct although it is affected by the resolution and FPS settings. RAPTOR drives can speed up the process by near 30%. :::EDIT::: I found the post I made on another forum, re: Audio rendering.

PRACTICE AND GET BETTER INSTEAD OF COMPLAINING!!!! When I first started to play this game and fly the flankers (whenever it came out) I would be constantly owned by Rugg and anyone else who had a little skill in the F-15 with Guns and AMRAAMS. I would say this is crap, bla bla bla, or the F-15 is uber comared to the rest of the planes.... After a couple years of learning I can now fly any flanker online or off with almost a 0 loss record, and when I do get shot down it is a easily recogonizable as to what I did wrong. It's the PILOT not the plane. (if people want I could work on a website to back this up, that way there is a link to official proof that I am correct) THE BIGGEST LESSON I LEARNED FLYING INLINE IS: KNOW WHEN TO RUN!!

I had TIR 3 since it came out (1.5years) and just recently upgraded to 4. 4 is better IMO, although they both pretty much do the same thing. ;) TIR4 is much better at redetecting the reflectors. Meaning if you turn your head completly or get up from your chair, it will usually recenter by itself when you return. TIR3 did not do that as well and usually required you to manually recenter.

I like the Tu-22 attack from "Sum of All Fears". Didn't seem to realistic, as the carrier group was given almost no warning of the attack, but I don't know?
