  1. Start with 1 server first. Hold off with complexity for later. Step by step.
  2. Thanks. Without TrackIR, and Nvidia so far. For newcomers. EventViewer Applications logs can be the one to confirm if it's in the same modules. So if you please post those errors as well, it may help us to understand if the cases are related or not.
  3. And as we talked about Mustang - you can't reproduce it anymore, right?
  4. I still need that DxDiag (attach it as textfile please, see previous "troubleshooter post") so I can get my hands on that 6 pack. ;) Do you have the Eventviewer Error as as well? See here for tips: http://forums.eagle.ru/showpost.php?p=1479197&postcount=18 Cheers.
  5. You need either - A unique public IP per Server - Or a unique Port per server (if you have only 1 public IP). The problem with DCS World (bug) is that it may not be visible from LAN by using the "Internet" list for some situations. Should be rectified a bit later. Instead you can use "LAN" listings to see it though. It will still be visible on internet for others to see, even if you can't use the "internet" list to see it on *your* LAN.
  6. Please have a look here to find the logs + DxDiag. http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=88164
  7. I've made 2 threads for this now - I just need to get some hard data on it. And we need to make at least 1 method to produce the problem, in a consistent manner. The other thread: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89897
  8. Could you please post your crash logs / event logs please? We need to have something to go on. Dxdiag too please. And can you please make a list with the excact steps to reproduce? 1. .... 2. ... EDIT: Panzer changed the title to reflect the investigation
  9. I want to be sure this can be related to the investigation - otherwise I'll move it to a separate thread. "this crash" you say. - How come arent you getting the crashes related to TIR? - Did you Alt Tab? Do you own Nvidia?
  10. Panzer changed title to reflect issue in investigation.
  11. Alt-Tab + Nvidia is a known issue and not related to this investigation. It's proved to be hard to fix, no words on when yet. Split out and Moved to a separate thread.
  12. Thank you very much, Wags. This is quite a bit of clarification.
  13. May not be enough for the MP to realign with the new keys. Just test it first. This will work:
  14. If you use 1 serial on Computer A - as well as on Computer B: - When you log in to DCS MP at Computer A, all is fine an dandy. - Logging on to DCS MP on Computer B - will kick out Computer A from MP. Unfortunate for a Server.
  15. Computer A is your server. You don't need more than 1 module (to actiavte MP - which require a license, hence you cannot use DCS World Free for this). Computer A use 1 serial which you have to buy. You can't use this serial anywhere else. You decide which module you want to buy for this server. Computer B, install all the modules - and make sure you have 1 unique serial for each. Computer A isn't locking any aircraft/slots. It only locks down 1 serial. When you log in to MP, that serial is marked as "in use" and can't be used on another PC (until you log out).
  16. The mission designer adds the BS2/A10C etc for flyables. You as an Server-admin don't have to worry about it. Just get hold of some mission which contain some of the flyables, and you're good to go. If you want to use another serial: you should reinstall DCS world (not possible to remove a module) and install 1 module only. And activate using that module. You can still host for all the other DCS modules even if they aren't installed. It's down to the mission which modules that are offered in each mission.
  17. If you fire up TIR - and haven't rebooted your PC, you may discover 2-3-4 TIR processes in the taskmanager. So just keep an eye out for the one's you started yesterday and the day before that. Only 1 process is needed for normal operation. And no need to shut it down between MP sessions - excuse me if it came out wrong like that. Just run TIR all nite long, but when you're done for the day - shut it down and check the process-list. It may appear there - and cause issues (in games) tomorrow when you fire up TIR again.
  18. So this looks to be a related issue to TIR5. Gents, I've noticed the following (for quite a while actually): - "TrackIR5.exe" may stay in the process list even if you have quit the TIR-App. - Make sure you use Taskmanager to KILL TrackIR5.exe if it's still running after you QUIT the app. This may be the reason I've not seen the problem. For reference, I have TIR4 pro with TIR5 software version 5.1.300 Build 9945. Perhaps you can state your TIR versions as well?
  19. Careful - you'll get 2 hours of footage. You forgot to say "a short 3 mins track please - with cherry on top" ;)
  20. Could it be your GPU-config is somewhat corrupted? That whenever you install new drivers / downgrade, it's using some corrupt settings? Whats that util again to clean out the graphics , ah here: http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/
  21. Please have a look here as well: http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=89828
  22. There's no deactivation for the new SF keys & systems, instead you get 1 activation renewal per month when you expire your keys. I not expired mine yet either for 2-3 years - takes forever ;)
