We hate Mr Random. Ms. Consistency is a much more attractive partner. Sorry to say bluedragon, I can't pinpoint anything in your logs and the context you're using to figure out how to produce the crash. One of your CRASH logs did say STACK OVERFLOW - but that was your first crash. Keep aligning for Ms. Consistency, some day we'll catch up to her.

DCS Just released Blackshark and A-10 Modules
Panzertard replied to TwoLate's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Hi smil o7. The betas in general is a bit tougher on the hardware / less optimization. As for specifics, no, I don't think it's better on the performance atm. It may be subjective though, as I turned off my HT to test a bit without. Come to think of it - I need to turn it back on :p -
--------------------------- LINE OF NO RETURN ------------------------------ Please do no cross it, Viper & I are watching you 24/7. Sincerely, your favorite Salmon Slapper & Slapee.
-
It's a beta - think of it as a Prepurchase. Compare it to the P51D prepurchase. With prepurchase you get access early - think of the full license in that manner as well. The rest will just have to wait a bit longer, and you'll get access too. No need to get upset - you'll get access when it's released. ;)

hi blackbaron. Please see TROUBLESHOOTING - Help us helping you. As well as this short checklist; Perhaps you can return when you have some more data for us.
-
Make sure your canopy is open / your radio is using the ground crew option. Not sure about the SU-25, I've only done this with the other modules and works every time I use the radio properly. If you have a problem, please take the time to make a short track to illustrate your issue and post it in the Bug & Problem section.

Some controls & keywords have been changed. from BS2/A10C 1111 Keep an eye out for odd behavior / crash. If so, reset your input profiles to defaults. I never copy the profile from one version to another myself as I'm aware of the changes in general - and want to avoid having problems 50 mins into my favorite mission. ;)
-
Or, Please re-download the latest full DCS World + P51D, then install the A10 beta-module into DCS world. I hope that should correct your problem.
-
If it was ED saying so in advance, then it may be correct. Nobody else would know - and btw in case you wonder; Testers / Moderators is not ED staff, just volunteers. So no, that information can't be right unless it's ED posting in an official manner - the post should still be there.

You're wish has been granted. Now Jeanie goes back to her bottle.
-
Mastiff - please stop - please return to FC2, you're catching bugs before we do! :megalol: I'd love to see that one myself.
-
Thank you mastiff. Crash confirmed, ~210-250 seconds into the mission.

Got the message: "dcs.exe stopped working" after exiting any mission
Panzertard replied to fzfq3m's topic in Game Crash
Unfortunately, with my GTX 680 I'm not able to produce the problem. Neither can I see something obvious in your reports causing it. I've tested on 2 different DCS world edition I have here. Does it crash if you run windowed mode? HDR / high textures off etc? Reset your Nvidia profile back to defaults? -

Thank you for a very comprehensive report. I'm having a look at your problem now. -
Please attach the mission you edited, and I'll have a look.

Blaze & Kuky is dead on with their advice. ED probably wont hand over any material to anyone outside their organization. To engage in a contract with ED to become a partner, please contact Wags or EvilBivol. I'm tempted to think this is another trolling attempt, so I'll play along nicely and close the thread now. If you wish to study the material and learn the 'how to' there are several threads for you to participate in, in a respectful manner. If you're serious about the attempt and wish to become a partner, you can contact ED directly.

Devil Out to Get me. Installation and Problem Running
Panzertard replied to dne48's topic in Installation Problems
 The logs got us on the right track. The problem still remain if you play at fullscreen I assume. You should really try to nail it, and figure out why your PC setup refuses to run it at full screen. I still suspect something happened/happens in your graphic combination somewhere. But at least now you can enjoy all the same bugs as the rest of us. Happy flying :) -

I'm a bit puzzled over the driver info in your DxDiag - is this really complete? Anyone out there with ATI Radeon who can tell me if these drivers are at the ocrrect version & time & date stamps? Not the official drivers? info WHQL & size is empty - shouldn't be like that. It could be CCleaner doing a bit too much cleaning. Perhaps you could get the official drivers from this place, dne. http://support.amd.com/us/gpudownload/windows/Pages/radeonaiw_vista64.aspx -

Now there's something interesting. So it fails to change resolution - not thats related to video & drivers - and windowed mode vs fullscreen. Perhaps you could try to play around with other resolutions / windowed mode? As well as testing other video drivers? -
I cant rearm!!! How work that??
Panzertard replied to pepin1234's topic in DCS World 1.x (read only)
Press the radio key first, the 'easy' default key for using radio on US-EN keyboards is '\' Then use the F12 + F8 within the radio menu. -
As for more info on the P51 as well as plans, the FAQ is your friend.

Note 2: - Make sure your radio is on the F11 (previous) + F8 (ground crew) chan / or canopy open (not sure about this last one). You'll get a Copy-response this way when you use the rearm / select loadout feature. -

Yes please, remove the data within the TEMP folder. Just a precaution - we need to try everything possible there is to try. :) -
Yes, have a look at; http://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=88146 post #4 is interesting for you. Rename the config \ input or the whole config folder. Maybe that solves it - it resets the config back to defaults.

hello dne. Thank your for your incredible patience. There just a few more exercises - and I want to make sure you really reinstalled the C++ libraries as well after the disk check/repair. I couldn't see that you mentioned it. As well as what bengo suggested, together with removing the DCS config. The order is important - Visual C++ 2010 x64 and Visual C++ 2010 x86 - and then Windows Update - Uninstall DCS World. - Remove the "Saved Games\DCS" folder - START + Run: %TEMP% - This will open your temporary folder, clean up all the files you're allowed to remove. Some files may not be possible to remove now. In any case, your temp-folder should be here C:\Users\<you>\AppData\Local\Temp - Install DCS World to the root of C: or D:, for example C:\DCS World or D:\DCS World - Final step, Reboot. And start DCS again and try the mission please. Now these are the last of any 'normal' operations we can do for you on your PC, short of re-installing Windows. PS, one last round of logs. This time, please provide all your content from "\Saved Games\DCS" - and ZIP/RAR it and attach it here. One final round of analyzing your config after a fresh setup may never hurt.
