Great job and detailing. However just for the sake of realism concerning Beirut Airport at least, there are several A300's with different Iranian operators' liveries as part of the static scenery, and that's not really accurate. The local traffic would rather be the national flag carrier of Lebanon -MEA- which is the main operator at the airport (even more so during these times). Another new item is a military Radar placed between runways 16 and 17, which also isn't there in real life. I've created a static civil aircraft scenery that mimics its real counterpart, with custom made liveries that I would be happy to share (they work with the civil aircraft mod)

Trim implementation on the kiowa better than ah64?
cygnet778 replied to kdfw's topic in DCS: OH-58 Kiowa
Anyone having an issue with cyclic trim in either setting? Seems only anti-torque pedal trim works and holds its position when trim is interrupted (actual control and trim position agree), whereas the cyclic trim only sets up the trim position as indicated on the control display, but when released the cyclic input goes back to its initial central position while the trim is still where it was setup. Tried all different settings with no joy Found the solution in another thread, just deselect force feedback in miscellaneous options! -
fixed internally TGP Drift VIS mode Maverick

Ah OK I see. Thank you -
fixed internally TGP Drift VIS mode Maverick
cygnet778 replied to Furiz's topic in Bugs and Problems
Not to duplicate what was reported, but has this fix been implemented or is it for the next update? The issue I'm facing is in MAV PRE mode, TGP as SOI, when I push TMS up once it switches simultaneously to point track and switches SOI to WPN. I can't seem to retain the TGP as SOI on the first TMS up. Thank you dcs.log tst.trk -
Also on the same note the dust smoke has no effect, no matter its setting in the ME, it never appears once mission is launched. After the latest update testing showed the fog problem is still persistent

Just tested MT versus standard version, and in the MT when taking off with either the F16 or the A-10 with very mild fog setup, the whole ground becomes overcast in fog from cockpit view. External view remains unaffected. Performance wise I got a substantial increase

+1 Unable to enforce flat shadows, plus an awful lot of aliasing is happening when shadows are rendered over building in major cities I also noticed some long range focus change

Exactly same issues here. I have G-sync and V-sync on in NVCP and running full screen. Stutters are impossible to avoid no matter what. I have set my screen refresh rate to 120Hz. V-sync caps the fps at 120 and G-sync prevents it from dropping to 60. One thing to be mindful of is that sometimes we get out of full screen due to using other apps and forget to reset it. Alt+enter should do the trick to a certain extent because out of full screen V-sync will work alone and force the fps to drop from 120 to 60 and this process introduces horrible stutter. With alt+enter the fps might drop to 100-110 smoothly. My main goal is to keep 120 fps as much as possible. So all AA settings are dialled down and instead I use DSR to 4x in NVCP and flat shadows in DCS to avoid taxing my performance and its well handled by the 2080ti. At the end of the day smoothness will come with the price of reducing some quality in the image...its unavoidable. And btw I tried 60fps and 60hz and couldn't take it. Too blurry! Feels like my pilot is suffering from hypoxia everytime I pan around!

Same problem here. Besides the new water textures look awfully greenish and similar to an old stable 2.5 version where the 3d rendering of the water surface is very dull, and wind doesn't seem to affect the waves and white caps are absent
-
Although it's been reported as known issues, the cloud artifact and aliasing towards the horizon seems to be affecting 2D not only VR as mentioned

A little correction needed in the last bits before RWY17 threshold in BEY. The trees cause traffic to crash while on glideslope. A photo gives the real view on short final versus DCS

After a few hours of tweaking the best result I've been able to sort of achieve is with this: - NVCP monitor frequency 120MHz - " Frame limiter 60 fps DCS - " G-sync OFF - " V-sync 3D application setting (All other options like adaptive, adaptive with half refresh rate and fast introduced screen tearing) - DCS options V-sync ON Full screen I can pretty much say it's running way closer to my expectations, butter smooth most of the time with the occasional microstutter. Another issue is the complete change of color and contrast where everything seems greyish rather than black. Gonna have to tweak contrasts and gamma settings both in-game and through NVCP Apparently TrackIR runs at 120MHz no matter what, any monitor frequency and FPS limiter should be a divider of that hence FPS 60 and monitor 120 Mhz

Thx will give it a try
