For gods sake, NO! I'd never laugh about someone whos butt can cause a total solar eclipse :megalol:.

This would be an interesting option. So a diet would pay off when you exceed maximum takeoff weight without reducing payload. Even a visit in the toilet could help :pilotfly:. To make it simple, you could just add your weight into your logbook. Errr. OK guys and girls. I originally started this thread to find out how many female simmers actively fly this chopper. Now see where it has led us. I enjoy it very much though.

Preferred language in missions
Endoplasmic Reticulum replied to igormk's topic in User Created Missions General
I think russian is best and authentic with english subs (or even in another language), cuz it's a russian chopper. Translating it into another language with russian accent sounds ridiculous to me. It's like english films translated into german. You miss 50% of the real atmosphere. So I watch it in the original language. -
If you could just see my sweat on my forehead :shocking:. Pure panic . Its fun to have fun at whoevers' expense.:P
-
Is it really you? If yes..NO. If no..YES ;). Sorry, but I'm in a funny mood.

No chute necessary. She would land like the Mars rover in its' final stage. And if lucky killing some more enemy vehicles by bumping on and crushing them to the size of a sheet of paper :D. Now if this isn't effective warfare, what else?;).

In this case during an ejection not the "pilot" would be ejected upwards, but the helicopter downwards and the pilot would stay in space there where she is:surprise:. It's not so important how it saves lives as long as it does its' job.

My wish list to Santa ED: Everyone knows already how much I love this sim in all aspects. Of course there is still much to do and to fix, but I have rarely had a game/sim that was almost perfect without major bugs. Good to know that some perfectionists are at work that love their jobs. But you can never satisfy anyone completely. If you win $ 10.000.000 you want $ 20.000.000 next time. You know what I mean? In my case I want more communication-options to make radio-communications more authentic like it is in Falcon 4. For instance, "Say -weapon/fuel state, damage state, position, declaring an emergency to the tower" and I think it could also be useful to have some command options about attack profile (high, low, left, right, sneak, attack at maximum/minimum possible range, cautious/offensive or even with a specific maneouver). One more thing: In BS you can only command the whole flight or each wingman seperately. Is this typical russian commanding procedure? I find it more useful being able to split the wing or giving orders to the element (wingmen 3 and 4) so that wingman 3 takes over control for the element and acts autonomously until you call em back again. I think these changes would give a more authentic feeling to the sim (at least to me). AAAAAAAAAAAND... I WANT DYNAMIC CAMPAIGN!!!!!!

Movie Appearance of Black Shark in "Black Shark"
Endoplasmic Reticulum replied to Endoplasmic Reticulum's topic in Chit-Chat
Thanx. Found it. Well the action scenes with the chopper are nice, but the hero of the movie leaves Jean Claude Van Damme far behind :weight_lift_2:. Lol . -
Hi all. As I began reading the updated manual, I stepped over the info, that the 5th prototype took a role (a non speaking ;)) in the film "Black Shark". I've searched the internet and IMDB but found nothing about that film. Does anyone know where to search for it or has even seen the film? Is it good or is it somehow like "Airwolf"? Thanx in advance.

You're right in a way, but isn't the authentic sim (helicopter/fighter) community a niche in general, compared to other games? Now that the simmers got a taste of this superb heli-sim, I'm sure most of the people would want more and new ones will gain attraction to it. It just needs time, patience and good marketing. Yeah lets hope they will. Well they started it, got us addicted and as a logical step they have to continue delivering us the drug regularly:smoke:.

Yep, but I don't get the relevance. Is it said that it will improve something in this sim? All I can say is, it works without any issues. -
A clear YES to transport helicopters!!!! I think a simmer that likes realism isn't always seeking a fight as such. It's the love in the realistic implementation of technology. This is at least my point of view. I'd love to see the Mi-26, Mi-10 (not the "K" version), Sh-60, Chinook and some more. Another thing that comes to my mind is the KA-27. Implementing an AWACS-helicopter would be a very interesting new way of participating in a war. Don't ask me how to fly the machine and control airspace at the same time, though. There surely are some bright heads in the team that can face the challenge and find a solution, right ;)?

Hi Mizzy. Nice to (virtually) meet you :). Well, I was just curious. It's always interesting to know how many women make a man's life harder in his so-called "own world". ;)
-
Hehe. You don't need to get stabbed first to know that it's painful. :smartass:

Hokum and Havoc. Why both in service?
Endoplasmic Reticulum replied to Endoplasmic Reticulum's topic in Military and Aviation
I agree, but I tried to understand the logic in integrating two different types of choppers. And no country throws money out of the window for two, if one can handle all tasks. But prestige is an additional factor and keeping two companies alive by buying both types than ruining one for the other is more logical for the future. I would want even more choppers, if you ask me. The broader the range the more interesting it gets and ED has more to work on, in building one more good sim for us. -
:megalol:. Haha.... But i preferr Aisha, ok? And I want a picture as proof. Then I will follow ANY orders you give me in MP. Word???? WORD!!!!
-
Thats good news. Then, Hello Mizzy. See yourself as #1 in this thread:pilotfly:. It's all about you in here ;). You're right, but unfortunately. Most people stick to those typical gender oriented cliches. A point of view which i absolutely don't share. If something is fun, it's fun! Regardles of the gender (ok, I would'nt play with barbies though and high heels are a pain ;)). I hope some more women show up who love BS.
-
Well then, guys! Then we have some work to do. We have a message to spread to the women on the globe and tell them what they will be missing in life when not playing BS. As an alternative ED could bring out a female version and replace the pilot with a Barbie in a pink camo-suit and rename the sim in "DCS:White Horse". What do you think of that?
-
I'm also quite sure that there are very few, but I find it interesting how many and who they are.
-
Hi all. It's me again:D. I was wondering if this game err... sorry SIM attracts the opposite sex in any way. Are there any female Hokumneeresses in this forum? Most of you guys say that your girlfriends and wives HATE this sim and are jealous, because you spend much more time with BS than with her. So I'm curious how many girls/women in here spend time with this sim. Don't worry. I'm neither looking for a date (maybe MP, but thats all :music_whistling:) nor seeking a relationship. I think a little sex-check would be interesting. I hope my post won't stay unanswered and does'nt get ignored. So hit the keyboards, girls. Adios muchachos y muchachas. P.S. Before i forget: I'm Male. Just wanted to be the first to tell ;).
-
Allright.. allright, guys. You finally made me join you online soon. After so much begging to make me join online, I decided to smash my Hokum around in public in front of your eyes:music_whistling:. I was hesitating a bit, but now be ready for some friendly fire :gun_rifle: and good ol' violent fun :chair:. Just to mention, I tried it two weeks ago, but somehow there was noone around. That was a bit boring, to be honest. Well then. See you soon. Check your six. It might be me ;).:pilotfly: Just kidding guys. I really hope you are a bit patient with me and my dragonfly. Im a quite good fixed-wing flyer, but my piloting skills in the Hokum are a bit limited due to lack of time.
