Your work is great! I've had your VF-143 and VF-102 sets since they were released and they are so nicely done. It's great to have a whole squadron set. Please don't stop there..How about some more squadron sets? Your work is much appreciated.

First use must bind the LANTRIN controls to you keyboard and hotas (the only thing you will do in the Jester menu is select your GBUs ....In the plane: 1. Lantrin power POD 2.put HUD in A/G mode 3. Change VDI to TCS then Toggle LANTRIN/TCS select..eventually you will see "not ready" 4. (8 min after powering up the pod) LANTRIN OPER/STBY (Unstow)..after several more seconds the LANTRIN screen should appear 5. LANTRIN mode A/G 6.Laser arm toggle 7.Check you laser code 8. Make sure you selected your bombs in the Jester menu and the master arm in on.......you should be ready to go

The Lantrin pilot mod still works fine in MP (and is even endorsed be HB until Jester has that ability) No Human RIO needed. I use the Lantrin pilot mod all the time in MP on the 104th

I actually prefer the later low-vis type line jets to the early A styles. For either the A or the B I would hope to eventually get some dynamic modex numbers..I have large sets for vf-213, vf-31, vf-102 (99 and OEF), and vf-143 and they do take up a lot of drive space.

Hey HB, I was wondering f you might show a little preview of some of the -A liveries. I'm curious about which squadrons will be coming with the A model. Also do you think you might add a couple more default -B liveries (I have tons of F-14 skins, but default ones are better so that everyone on the server can see what you're wearing)? Also, thank you for all the hard work on the Tomcat. I'm an F-14 lover since way way back, and I've been flying and fighting in the HB tomcat almost every day since March 2019 :pilotfly:

I was always under the impression that any effects from the bleed air- air source selector switch weren't actually modeled (maybe my impression was incorrect). I always left the air source set to off (because I thought the effect wasn't modeled) just to make the cockpit quieter. I'm an every day Tomcat driver who has been doing this for a year and a half since the Tomcat was released and have never noticed any negative effects. Today on the 104th a human rio jumped in the backseat (I've never flown with a human rio before) and he said the radar was overheating because the bleed air wasn't turned on...so have I been wrong? Are the negative consequences of turning off the air source modeled after all? :doh:

I've been checking for these on the user download page ever since you posted, when do you think you will release these VF-143 skins? Great job on the VF-102 set BTW!

Seemed to work fine yesterday. My TWS aim-54s were tracking normally. I also got an 18~20 nm phoenix kill in STT (I got that lock by using the "lock enemy ahead" command since the contact was already IFFed as a bandit). This was in Multiplayer.

Yes..the "A", Jester Lantirn, Forestall, A-6 AI (please hurry up with this guys)..It's getting close to a year and a half, I can't imagine what the hold up is.

Those VF-102 skins look great, I've always wanted some low res diamondback skins to go with the high res default ones. Can't wait to get these, hope you release them soon.

I haven't seen anyone mention this yet, but there is a new problem when choosing the data-link host. The issue is that because other surface ships (DDGs and CGs) can now be DL hosts..if there are a lot of ships in the mission, then the AWACS aircraft may be impossible to select. Jester's menu lists hosts in order of proximity to your aircraft (I assume), so if the AWACS is off at a distance the ships fill up the menu. The problem is that the DL host menu doesn't have a "next page" choice, you can't change the DL presets, and there isn't an option to set the DL frequency manually (and of course in MP I can't jump into the back and do it myself). I fly my Tomcat daily on the 104th server, and that is where I run into this problem. There are usually two carrier groups..so a lot of ships. Now, unless I fly close to where our AWACS is (which is usually not where I'm trying to go) I can't set AWACS as my host and have to choose one of the CGs of DDGs that are closer. If we could select "next page" or enter the frequency manually, that would solve this small problem.

I'm really looking forward to the AI A-6, I wonder why it is such a low priority..Can't wait to have it in the game so carrier decks will look "right". I'm not complaining too much though, I love my Tomcat and fly it every day. Thanks for your great work Heatblur!

PAL won't work when jester in going crazy with the clicking in the back. It comes on for a sec then it just goes back to TWS-A. I was able to go to PAL or get jester to stt lock a target. The radar is broken until they fix it or roll back the TWS-A update. If they don't have a fix, I wish they would just roll back the update so I can use my plane for more than just tanking and carrier landing practice

Why the silence on the F4U? We saw this flying last year (december?)..Not a word or picture in months...please give an update

This just happened to me..Jester going crazy in the back with switches! I flew three sorties on the 104th today. On the first two sorties everything was working fine and I got a aim-54 kill using TWS-A on both of the first two flights..no problems. But on the third flight the TWS-A wouldn't stay centered on the incoming hostiles, it kept bouncing back to the far left tracking a group of friendlies (these were already IDed as friendlies and the hostiles were positively IDed as bad guys). I kept trying to manually move the radar back to the bandits, but jester kept going back to the friendlies. Then I just kept hearing a constant clicking sound like jester was flipping switches..the clicking sound never stopped. So again, first two flights had no problem..but the last flight the jester was losing his mind. Two other F-14 guys on teamspeak said they had experienced the same problem.

I have this lighting problem as well. The cabin lights have no effect at all..a few updates ago I remember the 190a8 had very bright cabin lights..now nothing

Those skins look outstanding! It would be really better to have those skins available for both the A and the B. I can't imagine that I or others will use the A much (especially in MP), but I'd still love to have every squadron's colors. Please consider releasing these skins for the B as well so that we can enjoy them as much as possible. Thanks for your great work!
