  1. the greatest movie and scenery i've seen. What migs are those? From FC2? I didn't know it's possible to modify an airbase. How did you guys make Kecskemet airbase? Is there any tutorial anywhere to teach me how to do it?
  2. "did you release the template ?" only the old template is available because now i'm working at a new 3d model F-16 based on more acurate blueprints. So when this one will be ready, you'll have a new template too, but as i started it from scratch, it'll take a while... In other words i'm no longer developing this old one, but if you'd like to have the changes and i see people's some interest in this, i can do it but not at this moment because i'm working at my diploma exam
  3. one thing more i'd like to see in fc3 is the possibility of adding different skin static aircraft on an airfield. I hate to make a line of aircraft, all with same skin, it would be more realistic to choose the skin for every static jet.

  6. thinking that you have a lot of talented people on this forum who may offer their help, would ED agree to help a parallel team, made by self-offerer people, to create Europe terrain? I know i am insistent but i think we miss the most important part of the world's map, not because we talk about Europe,but because is the place where most of the Air Forces join together(including USAF) in most important exercises, and in the past is the most offering war theatre, world war 2, cold war etc. I am one of the guys who would share their help for free, to create Europe.
  7. i wasn't asking if there will be a world war 2 era. I was asking if will we have Western and Central Europe terrain, for general simulation not a specific time.
  8. i'm thinking further..When we get the P-51 we'll fly it over Russia or we'll receive Europe terrain too?
  9. you're right and i'm not against P-51 but we're expecting the next DCS fighter for a long time, and as nothing was said about it recently(what type of aircraft, features etc), and the P-51 came up, it's obvious we are afraid that the next DCS module may not appear this year either. We need news, screens in other words no secrets.
  10. i was suspicious about asking ED for including the Mig-21 in their future plans, because of its old, not modern avionics and incapability to face the actual jets in air to air combat, but it seems they went even further...P-51 Mustang. Interesting. If you ask me, the initiative is good but it should be included in another gender, not called DCS(DIGITAL Combat Series, with the word "digital" bold). ED should not forget what's the main theme here, which is included in the name. So, about this pickle we've found ourselves in.. i see this resolve, from my point of view: P-51 released under other name and not necessary compatible with DCS and publication of the name of the next DCS fighter, that should be released sooner than P-51, which is not a priority for us, or me. And Mig-21

  12. As you guys mentioned in other threads it seems we are getting closer of the fc3 releasing. I personally don't know what that means, what improvements will bring to us, but i know what i'd really like to see in the next module of lock-on. And i hope the guys from ED read our wishes we write down here and implement them in what will probably be the greatest sim ever. Now, i start with my wishes and i hope, if there's not impossible, to see them in further development: 1-as we all see when we play the sim, there is some terrain available at the west of the Black sea, but it doesn't have textures and airfields. This terrain belongs to countries like Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine. So please ED extend the terrain and put some airfields there too, or if it's possible, extend even more with countries that were part of the USSR in the past, going as close as possible to west Germany(for a great cold war simulation). I think we all want to see some extended map, and it's probably the best moment to implement; 2-I found a patch for FSim that was able to make the sim use maps from Google map. It brought an unbelievable realism for the terrain and since then the only thing i think about is how to do that in FC2. Maybe FC3 will include this exceptional feature; 3-stratospheric clouds-we see them in DCS and are great but we miss them in FC2. These are my wishes, guys feel free to add some more, in the hope ED will get FC3 closer of our hearts.

  14. Hi, i'm having a problem with finding some accurate and high quality blueprints for my mig-21 mf model. If anybody has ones, or knows some where i can buy them please help me.
  15. do we need newer su-27? the 3go one is the best we can get.i mean enough details, textures etc.

  17. the truth is if you try to change the number of skins the pylons thing will mess up,including the version of the airplane,because i made them by animating pylons to be visible/not visible in argument 70.

  22. guys, it may sound like criticism again, but you know me i'm not bad intended. try to make the cockpit a little wider and the cockpit glass more rounded. i found a good example at this cockpit made for falcon 4 i think:
  23. looking good! i have some questions< the cockpit is new modeled or a reskin of an existing one? and the f-18 is the default one because it looks like but it's better, maybe because of the skins?
  24. well, i must recognize this is something new for me, i never used it.
  25. of what i know, normal map is the diffuse map(colored, with camo etc) and the bump map is another texture map(usually grayscale) which makes the panel lines, rivets, and any other parts to appear 3d even though they are not modeled. so aaron is right.
