US Navy Deck Equipment Hang Ups
grant977 replied to grant977's topic in Utility/Program Mods for DCS World
Hmmm got ya I’ll have to go that route. So I imagine you do not have to reinstall every patch correct? -
I reinstalled it and now it’s working fine.
-
Sure Miguel I’ll send one when it does it. It’s intermittent will do it one mission and not the next.

Nope your campaign portion works perfectly. It’s dcs freezing and not going to debrief. I have to Ctrl, alt, del to exit game.

Does anyone know of a program that will run a test of your PC and give you a run down of where you worst bottleneck might be?

Sadly it seems that after the last recent patch this great mod is cause hang ups on start up of game and then more often almost every time from mission to in game debrief. https://www.digitalcombatsimulator.com/en/files/3301580/

It seems to me when I updated to script 7 I had a significant frame rate reduction in F14 cacucuses.

To start turn the hud off use the AOA indexer only. Take a nice long pattern get her on speed and trimmed then turn in and fly the approach. Takes time but it will be much better without chasing the bracket or velocity vector. Neither update fast enough in the F14 to be of use. HUD is NoT a primary flight instrument in the F14. Mainly for weapons delivery. Hope this will help a little.

Cool no worries thank you for the clarification.

Funny enough we do have a gps we can use the garmin that can be used with the mi8 and uh1 don’t know if you can have it with Tomcat.
-
I don’t think this made today’s patch just fired up the jet cold start with stored heading alignment and still exists.

On the F14 caucuses campaign on ground strike missions I get extremely slow 1 to 2 per second frames when either wingman is being engaged around target area or maybe if he is damaged don’t know for sure. But it’s only in and around the Target. Doesn’t seem to be when I’m being shot at.

Ok cold start Persian gulf have jester do a stored heading Alingment. Take off head towards waypoint I had him plug in from map it’s 80nm out. Fly directly too strait and level. I arrived with ins 5nm off. Will it drift that badly that quick. Less than 20 mins in air.

If you go to the below link and watch the unusual attitude recover video he give you a great idea of the power of the rudder, and the principals behind it especially why you want it at high alpha. https://www.touringmachine.com/Articles/technique/2639/
