Hmmm, tricky one. I will want to hook up with fellow hogs in MP. Dont want an unstable experience though! Yes, it's a Z77 chipset, MSI G45 military class mobo. Cant upgrade anything yet, the mrs will have me living in a tube station lol :S

I Just recently decided to get back into the simulation game. I've bought A10C (it lured me in lol) and built a computer to hopefully run it. I have a couple of questions, I hope you can help with, apologies if I've missed the answer to them anywhere: Q1 Do I need to download DCS World? Q2 My PC build is; i7 3770k, 8gb 1600 ram, GTX560ti 448 edition. Will this build run DCS ok? Reckon I should be up and running sometime next month, when I have everything read to go. I use to be part of 355th back in 2003/4. Reckon I also need to do some research on any Hawg squadrons out there :D

Not installed anything for months, installed 1.1 and patched 1.12a rebooted, got a BSOD? Is it the starforce driver that has caused this BSOD? Anyone else had a BSOD after installing 1.[1]12a? And what have they done to make sure it doesn't happen again?

The X1900XT/XTX and X1950XT/XTX all run at temps ~55 idle and can get up to ~95 under maximum stress - which is the norm, any higher you may have airflow problems. My cards get to about 85 max playing GRAW (settings maxed) but the Akasa Eclipse62 case helps :D 2x 120mm fans blowing away.

You should be up there near my score (8547) with that spec, you got a conroe and 1950XTX and similar memory - you got second GPU?. I'm using the 6.8 drivers from ATi. Well, that's a good question because I've never disabled crossfire and run 3D 06 on it :D There is also the fact they don't make an XTX that is the master card therefore the XTX is actually down clocked a little because the XT is the master card. :S All in all, I'm very happy with my set-up as I can play BF2 and GRAW on MAX settings with no problems, and the XFi is fantastic with a Medusa headset plugged in :D Not had a chance to test this set-up with LOMAC yet and not sure if I actually will, I've not installed it yet, as I'm a bit wary of starforce (even though I have 4 keys left) I don't like the reviews starforce got, heard it's not compatible with some CD/DVD RW's - mines a Plextor. :(

Would love to come up against another KA 50 online, I'd whipp it's ass. I once got chased by 2 of them, lead them half way round a mountain only to perform an up and over and kill them both from behind with my 2 trusty AIM 9's ;) And I've taken on Hinds and whipped them too. I don't really see any of the choppers or SU25Ts in my Hog as an A2A challenge really.

Try right click the exe --> properties --> compatibilty tab --> check run this program in..... Try different Windows versions.

It was a good show as always, it's just me crying I couldn't see the aircraft I mensioned lol There was even a Mig 21 and U2 static I'd have liked to see go up, I think that was my frustration - seeing all those great static aircraft and not seeing them fly :( However I thought the little Honda Sukhoi aircraft was good even though he didn't manage all the ribbons hehehe

Nice shots dood. I was there also - remember watching that van pick up the parachute for the 52 at the end walking out. It was a good air display but I've been spoilt from last year and greater still the year before. I just thought the line up wasn't as good this year. No A10, F15, F18 Super Hornet, B2, F117, Nimrod, Mig 29, SU27 or Phantom. But never-the-less, cracking pics!

Mine is the A10, I love the aircraft - it's slow but flown right, very dangerous. I just WISH it had AFM.

Someone may be able to correct me if I'm wrong BUT (not that I played there anyway) I think ubi.com has taken the LOMAC rooms down? I got a message saying 'client incompatible with server' - so I went to check the ubi site for a patch, and by pure luck I noticed there were ~1390 players in Raven Shield room and GR etc, but the LOMAC room didn't exist. Explains why my client is not compatible with the server lol

F5 view I agree. I take it the server over-rides the individuals F5 preference? e.g If mine is enabled and the servers is disabled, F5 should not work for me? If it did work, some people have a unfair advantage.

I don't know about anyone else, but pressing F10 crashes LOMAC (So far only in MP games). I always get send to Microsoft message if I press F10. What's frustrating is I don't look at the map often and when I do, bang - there she goes! This happen to anyone else or do I need to uninstall and re-install?? I have the original game, uninstalled --> reinstalled --> patched from 1.0 - 1.02 (when 1.02 was released). Most services are closed when MP'ing, can't think what it would be? Can this be looked into please?

A10 That's why I LOVE this community - cause it's alive. Thanks for the replies on the GAU-8, I honestly thought it could carry more than 1350 rounds (looking at the size of the drum behind the GAU-8 lol). I don't go mad with the cannon in game - but it seems I run out of ammo rather quick, oh well :?
