Hi SiThSpAwN It only happened once to me on auto guide, where I targeted the left most Artillery vehicle, fast forward it to just past where I send my wingman a recon command. I then pick up the left arty and the first Vikhr I fire goes wayward, second hits. PS a manual guide Vikhr goes wayward also trying to get the same Arty earlier in the track. See what you think? Putting the post back on topic. The KA50 has two main issues. 1) Shkval will fast slew to the right randomly (a known bug)! And 2) Locked target, Vikhr fired will miss and fly to ground, (same lock, same hover) second Vikhr fired will hit. Both points above have happened to me in multiplayer 1.2.8 and point 2 above happens frequently in mission one of the oil campaign in 1.2.8.

The only time my helicopter turned was when the Shkval slewed right. I was in a stable hover with Auto-turn-to-target enabled. Which made it more frustrating. To try to correct it, I had to hit reset, enabled HMS, track target again and try lase again, no success on numerous times, so I stopped gaming.

This happened to me tonight in the latest 1.2.8 beta. I was trying to lockup a convoy coming straight at me, the Shkval decided to slew right with no input from myself. Tried to slew it left but it was like someone was holding the slew right key in. Had to hit the cockpit reset button to stop it.

User error? I'm not talking about manual guide here, I'm talking auto with 6.5km - 7.5km distance to target. Never noticed this behaviour in 1.2.7 I'll see if I can grab a track with it happening.

This latest 1.2.8 including the latest 1.2.8 beta has managed to break the Vikhr missile targeting system. Laser on, I can see "TA" and distance data to target in the Shkval screen, when I fire, the Vikhr just randomly flies to ground, I fire again and the second hits. Sometimes the first will hit and the next TA it doesn't. The system is intermittent now. IMO the best module is now broken!

Yeah I get this issue in BS2 in 1.2.7 OB and in 1.2.7 First mission is sweet, if Ogre restarts the server with different mission or same mission again, blurred textures.

Another thing to keep in mind...when ED build these updates, they don't have shoulder mods running, tinted glass mods, this skin, that skin, this mod, that mod etc etc. Nearly every update I've installed has worked fine, but then I rarely allow mods on my system. Just sayin :D

I set my trimmer to my hotas and hold it in when I want to perform scary maneuvers. Release it again when I'm stable, straight and level. The KA-50 is a dream to fly, it's a different style of flying but a pleasure to learn.

Still going? It's the best module in the series IMHO. An absolute pleasure to fly and fight in. Up close and personal :D

Oh, I was flying a KA50 with Russian markings, Betty may have been talking Russian I suppose! Are you saying this is not a bug, even though I downloaded the English version and it says in the options, in cockpit language "English". Kind Regards Daz

Hi Auto installed this latest update tonight and am experiencing the following issues: In cockpit voice says English in options BUT sounds like French I think, (certainly not English) - in SP and MP Very stutter gameplay - in SP and MP Kind Regards Daz

I would have liked to seen the DCS F18 before the DCS F15, too much of the same thing all at once with F15 and SU27. Personally F15 and SU33 would have been great or SU27 and F18.

Any info on different DCS World version showing in TARS CP? Can I just ignore the version because it's pointing at the DCS folder?

When I fire up the TARS control panel, under "Games" I see DCS World 1.2.1.5970, not sure why when I actually have 1.2.3.9871 installed?? Its looking at my Saved games\DCS folder.

I crave the Harrier GR9 one day, it's role on the battlefield fits in beautifully with the airframe's already available in DCS flyable and AI (excluding the P51, not sure why this airframe was created in a modern battlefield)!
