I wish every night for the Crimea to be re-included :D I hope when DCS is 64-bit and ED have more memory to play with it won't be too difficult to do, even if the mesh/textures are a lower standard to the new terrain.

Even with brightness and contrast at full it still appears solid black, I just can make out the ADI. I'm using a Samsung SM2233RZ.

Thats the view from the cockpit even with all the lights outside though. So those lights are as much use as a chimney on a dog ;)

Do you have any extra game controllers plugged in? I had a logitech steering wheel plugged in at the same time as the joystick and had those problems, even after clearing all assignments to the steering wheel. Only solution was to unplug it..

Moral of the story is corrugated box factories are dangerous :D Was threading paper between 2 rollers, I didn't realise the lower one was turning, the power lamp on the control panel had blown so I though the power was off when it was actually on. Arm got dragged in to 1" off my elbow before I caught an emergency stop tripwire with my foot. Lots of swelling + bruising.. For now the only game I can play is Anno 1404 because you just need a mouse :D I may just practice lots of cold starts in the Ka-50 and enjoy the new sound engine! 12 minutes left come oooooooon

Nearly 1GB, holy mother.. It's a shame my arm was trapped in a machine at work and I can't fly for a few weeks, typical !

Seeing as this is coming from Ubi, is it wise to presume it will have the UPlay DRM? This is one game I'd not buy even if it was DRM free, FWIW ;)

I have the monitor setup as to how I'd like it, 1680x1050 on the left, and 1440x900 on the right for Shkval and ABRIS. But the text which appears during missions seems to be trying to centre over the full resolution rather than just the main camera, for the radio menu I'm not sure what its doing all the way over there :music_whistling: Any ideas how to get these under control?

This. I used to get a micro stutter when a cannon round hit the water for example but no more with the ssd. Loading times are noticeably quicker. If you get an ssd the only regret you will have is that you should have got a bigger one, my steam folder is over 100gb, my ssd 74.4gb (80gb in marketing speak). SSD for windows, programs and a select few games = win.:thumbup:
