Hello After reading some of your posts, I get the impression that you are bereft of even basic computer hardware knowledge. I would strongly advise before you purchase even one component to read up and understand what you need, if your building your own rig that is. A simple google search will provide a wealth of information general, relative, and opinionated information. you only need to digest it.

Your right I was generalizing. But most of those chips do overclock very well it's hit and miss really. I know of 7 right now that are and have been running at 4ghz on air for a looong time they do get hot of course that's a given. One shouldn't overclock any chip unless one is prepared to deal the access heat common sence

I7920's with D0 stepping are like the wholly grail of CPU's, fairly cheap and they just go up, and up nearly doubling the stock clock. If you haven't already you could invest in a SSD its about the most significant performance upgrade you could make at this point. As far as the GFX card I had a couple of HIS5850's flashed with the asus bios so I could overclock them to 5870 speeds as such my comparison here is a little iffy I had to get rid of them because I use FSX alot and the newer series ATI cards aren't really optimized for that so I sprang for a GTX580 it had a noticeable impact on just about every thing its a great card and I wholeheartedly endorse it

Most of the time you can view your key in the "library" by right clicking on the game. You should see a drop down menu, from there you should see the option "view game CD key" or 'something of the sort' although it doesn't work on all games. I also didn't know the key would work for the non steam version, that's some handy info or at least it would be.

That's a mean machine well worth $2000. Wish I could afford it.

I played this sim with my X52 for a long time before I got the TMWH, there is no going back. Sure you can enjoy it w/o the TMWH but after you've used this HOTAS for any length of time you will be jaded. It would be like going from caviar, to minced dogfood. Not trying to discourage anyone, just saying ignorance is bliss:music_whistling: One of the advantages of being single with no dependents is I can afford this crap so there is a trade off
