I'm contemplating getting it. I liked FO3 and NV but Oblivion..not so much. Skyrim may be too long for me to sit through without guns IDK a good battle axe might do.

It works pretty well, and I wouldn't worry, the grease is non conductive. I accidentally covered my hall sensor with the stuff, and it still works. You shouldnt be scared to do it if you've already disassembled the base, that's the second hardest part of the process, right after putting it back together. According to at least 2 confirmed RL chopper pilots 'that I know of at least' they have not. And as this is a dedicated helo sim/game whatever, that is simply unacceptable IMHO. But I believe they are working on it, I hope anyways. Personally I want as close to reality as I can get, but alas am ignorant, so I must stalk these 2 on the BI message boards. When they are satisfied I shall follow suit. Not going to lie I bought this game thinking it was going to have hifi FMs, but that's my fault for not reading up on it more. I am a victim of my own ignorance again, and I know it. Everything else was great though.

On my G940 I use the center slop to kind of walk the cyclic around the ranges and yes the helo is pitching up upon releasing the trim so Im guessing this isn't accurate/realistic behavior. I'm sure this is all known just wanted to chime in

Does the stick remain in place and does the helo retain aoa after trimming? I turned off FFB and the stick behaved how I expected, as a really sloppy non FFB stick. BS2 FFB on the G940 is definitely Fubar. Can/will it be addressed?

Its going to depend on your settings, theoretically you could turn all that stuff off and get the same performance as BS1 I haven't tried it meself hence the theory

You installed BS1.0 did you also activate it?

I haven't had a chance to see but I'm pretty certain bs2 will have its own key. In case your trying to activate it with your original bs key

A computer is a synergistic mesh of components. Upgrading can be a tricky process. I don't think its the drivers limiting your performance, I could be wrong but I doubt it. A DXDiag would be great.

I had an H50 for about a year, key word being 'had'. Expect eventual and exponential degradation. I hope it lasts you forever though.
