    Steam Isnt releasing a console per se, Its a Custom built PC or PC's running a linux based OS also known as "steam OS" AFAIK none of them are proprietary or use proprietary components.

    I used the programing software for all of the keystrokes, the axis I had to bind in game of course.

    I managed to emulate the a10c hotas on my x52 using shiftstates and modes. It was convoluted as all hell though.

    A word of warning about the Antec1200 case, its heavy and a pain in the butt to clean there are a total of 24 screws that you have to remove to get tthe filters out. Now, I just take mine out back and blow the dust in lol

    I think ED and Bescl are trying to develop an SDK. Free or licensed I do not know, but once you guys wrap your brilliant minds around that it could turn certain daunting tasks into a breeze.

    Yes you can remove the stand alone software. You only need BS1 installed, and activated, in order to activate the BS2 upgrade, after which you can remove BS1 as well

    My trusty GTX580 1.5gb, with which I run 2 monitors, '3200x1080' @ full AF, and decent AA, and a consistent 30FPS. Dips to no less than 22FPS on ground, with mirrors enabled, which I consider to be pretty good.

    Ouch! :D Speaking from experience, going straight from a HDD to 2 SSD's in raid0, everything seems to happen instantaneously. I get angry when some stubborn app takes more then a few seconds to load now
